next week : friday night

"are you excited for your date with dan?" jax said, lying down on mil's bed. 

"yes." mil said as she fluffed her hair again. "very."

"please, please, please tell me what happens." jax begged. "my ship is sailing and i want to know as much as possible."

"calm down, jax." mil laughed and pinched his cheek. "i could never forget you."

"thanks." he smiled. she heard the doorbell go off, and she jumped up, smiling happily. 

"oh my god."

"oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" jax squealed, jumping up and down. "he's here, he's here, he's here!"

"who's going on the date with him, you or me?" mil laughed, applying a coat of lip gloss. 

"you." jax said. 

"but i don't think i'm getting as excited as you are, now am i?"

"but you should be." 

"aw, to hell with it." mil scoffed, and began jumping up and down as well. "i'm going on a date with daniel roberts!" she heard the doorbell ring again and she stopped, then ran downstairs. she opened the door, revealing her date for the evening. dan was dressed in a black suit with his hair swooped up to the side, and he was wearing his glasses. he gasped when he saw mil, and the only words he could say was "w-wow..." mil was wearing a black skirt along with a red blouse and matching black shoes. her hair was down and wavy, and decorated with a small diamond clip. 

"do you like it?" she asked, spinning around to give him a good look." 

"you look incredible." dan blushed. he held out his arm. "shall we?"

"we shall." mil giggled, placing a hand on his forearm. dan opened the door to the car and helped her in, then walked over to the other side. 

"where are we going?" mil asked as he started the car. 

"oh," dan smiled, "you'll see."

"holy shit, dan." mil gasped. "i didn't think you'd take me here."

"it's the nicest resturant in town for the nicest girl in town." dan winked, looking back down at the menu.

"it's also the most expensive resturant in town." mil said. 

"i've got some money saved up." dan said. 

"but still--"

"no, mil." dan cut her off. "really, it's fine."

"okay, then." mil said. "whatever you say, i guess."

"that was the best dinner i've ever had." mil said, looking up at dan.

"i'm glad." he smiled, taking ahold of her hand. mil's heart began to race when this happened, causing a slight blush to go to her cheeks. "i really enjoyed tonight."

"i-i-i..u-um..."

"you know?" dan said, letting go of her hand and turning to face mil. "you're really cute when you're flustered." he closed his eyes and leaned in with slighly parted lips. mil connected her lips with his and her heart exploded with joy as she kissed back, shivers running down her spine. 

"oh my--" mil said when they finally parted. 

"i know." dan blushed. 

"w-want to do it again?"

"hell yeah." dan whispered, leaning in again.
