Your POV:

I'm even closer to Loki now that I told him what I was. I've shown him the book with all the monsters and we had a lot of fun talking about it. I still don't transform into my dog form since I haven't told the others. Maybe I should but I'm scared. I mean, we are hunted by many people. Of course, all Avengers have pretty messed up backstories so they probably wouldn't mind. Still, it's a secret that I've kept for so long, being 33 years old now, so my instincts are telling me to stay quiet.

As I think to myself, I smell Loki. Yes, I've become accustomed to his smell. It's quite different from others, probably because of what he is. He smells like ice, winter, it brings back good memories. I know that he is a Jotun but won't force him to talk to me about it even if I'm curious.

We are preparing for a mission right now, the first one in a while. The others finally trust him enough. They are way nicer now that they see how cute he can be. WAIT WHAT? Did I just say that he was cute!? Get yourself together, (Y/N)! Am I screaming at myself in my head? Yes, yes I am.

Putting on a suit from SHIELD, I put my hair in a ponytail and look at myself in the mirror. Good enough, I guess. I turn around and silently gasp when I see Loki. It's actually the first time that I've seen him in his battle armor and it's kind of turning me on. WAIT STOP THIS HE IS YOUR FRIEND! WELL, IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT HE IS SO SEXY! I scream in my head. Then, I see him looking at me with a smirk and realize that I said the last part out loud. Holy shit, I technically just told him that he is sexy! God, please kill me right this moment.

(Y/N)- I'm gonna die in a hole now. Bye.

Saying this, I start to walk away read from embarrassment but he grabs my arm.

Loki- I'm sexy, huh?

I can hear the smirk in his voice. I turn around and give him a pointed look.

(Y/N)- Yes, but these horns break the whole attire.

He gives me an angry look but I just flip him off and walk to the weapons, taking my favorite sword, some daggers and a couple of guns. The mission is to capture some evil guys, easy peasy.

We arrive at the old building and I facepalm. Why is it always a creepy place? Can't they be in a normal building? It always has to be scary and old.

(Y/N)- Let's get this over with. Why do we have to get those stupid humans while we could be watching a movie?

Loki- You're starting to sound like me.

I smile a bit and walk into the building, seeing about fifteen males. Rolling my eyes, I get out my sword while Loki appears daggers and we start to fight against the poor humans. As we are about to win, my arm suddenly burns. I scream in pain and drop my sword. Looking at my arm, I see that someone just shot an iron bullet through it.

?- I've been hunting you for a while now. I can finally kill you, Skinwalker!

I turn towards the voice and see a guy holding a gun. He has black hair and brown eyes that are burning with hate. Then, I recognize him.

(Y/N)- You're the older brother of the kid I left alive!

I back up as I say this. He could kill me with the gun and I can't do anything to stop him. As I'm panicking, Loki throws a dagger at the guy making the gun fall on the ground. I quickly transform into my dog form and jump on the guy.

Loki- Why are you trying to kill her? She let your sister live.

The guy looks at him with the same hate I saw when he stared at me.

?- You wouldn't understand. You're both monsters that kill people for fun.

I don't know what to do. I can't let this guy go, he'll hunt us down until we're dead. Still, I won't kill him but at the same time I can't bring him to SHEILD cause then people will know what I am. I transform into my human form after Loki gives me a coat yet again but still hold him down in case he tries anything.

(Y/N)- What's your name?

?- I'm Will.

He says that with venom in his voice but I ignore it. Right now, I'm just trying to find a solution. I sigh as I come to a conclusion.

(Y/N)- Well, Will, I'm bringing you to SHIELD. I won't kill you but I can't let you free either so I have to do this.

Loki looks at me with worry but I just smile. They will learn about it someday anyway. The sooner the better, as they say.

Back at SHIELD, I immediately went to my room. I'm too scared to see their reactions so I've gone back to my researches instead. Yes, I've been researching on what's happening but haven't really found anything. Then, I somehow ended up on fanfiction about Twilight? Don't ask how it happened, it just did. I'm thinking that I might have imprinted in some way on someone though I don't know who.

The exhaustion is probably from being with them but not in a romantical way. It could also be because I'm not listening to my animal side? I don't really know but it kind of makes sense in a way. It's just a feeling inside of me. The need to mate, I think. I do not listen to it and it's exhausting to go against my instincts. I don't even know what mate means in these circumstances. I'm so confused...

I don't know what to do. It's not like I can go around looking for the person I imprinted on. Even if I found him or her, what would I do next? I need to think about all of this before acting without thinking. There's also the problem with the hunter. How did he find me and why? I'll just go to sleep for now. All that thinking's got me sleepy.
