As Hazel sat next to her best friends, she didn't have a care in the world. After escaping ThistleBrook, she had fled to the wild. Hunting and shifting. She was free from both the curses of the supernatural. Unfortunately, both curses had started to affect her in different ways. When she shifted into a wolf unlike Zack she didn't tear her clothes. They appeared when she was human again. She had started to gain a taste for blood, immortality wasn't the best either. She had avoided this by letting the boys hunt and trying to shift more often. Phoenix was helping her resist to feed. Zack helped her with control. It had been a few months since they had ran away. They were in a vast forest. Barely any humanity knew about it. The full moon is tomorrow. Hazel was able to shift whenever she wanted, unfortunately Zack couldn't. It was painful for him, he almost lost himself each moon. As Hazel curled up and dozed off the next day arrived.
