When Hazel woke up she was covered in blood. At least it wasn't hers. She remembered what had happened. She couldn't figure out how she drained the deer and ate them. Whilst clambering up she ran to the river to clean off. When she arrived she didn't stop running and just jumped off the edge of the waterfall.
After diving off the waterfall she was drenched. She ran back to the campfire as quickly as she could. When she arrived the boys looked ready to go. They had packed and the campfire wasn't there anymore. Hazel's stuff was bundled up in a corner and they were waiting on her. They seemed to want to stay in the wild from what she had known. Now they were all set on leaving. She didn't understand why until she asked for answers.

Hunters out of all things? She couldn't believe it at first. They were always safe. Always careful. What had brought this on? They didn't have time to explain everything. They left as soon as they could. The worst thing wasn't the journey.
It was the destination. The human world.
