I lie on the bed. The team outside of the room talking to each other. They think I cant hear them. I can hear them faintly but it wont matter. "How do you think he's holding up?" "Probably not good" "yea he did just find out that Brice or someone like him is alive" I zone the rest of the conversation out as I roll on my side. I see the picture of me and Brice. A sad smile forms on my face as I look at the picture of us when we were happy, before the accident. I look down at the picture sadly as my eyes start to slightly droop. I grab the picture lightly in my hands as I feel fatigue take over making my eyes droop and my breath evens.

[DREAM/ FLASHBACK]

"Hey Seto!" I turn around from my book to see the love of my life. "Hey Brice" I say smiling as he wraps his arms around my neck with his head atop mine. "Would you like to go out with me tonight?" I look up at him and smile widely "Of course I will Brice" He smiles and kisses my head. "Oh and wear something comfortable but fancy" I laugh at his sentence and nod "Alright" His smile widens and he kisses my head, again. He rushes out of the room as I look back down at the random book I was reading. I sigh happily and flip the top of the page to save my spot. I walk into our room and grab my tux out of the closet. I look around and notice Brice is nowhere to be seen. I shrug and walk into the bathroom.

I step out of the shower and pull on a pair of underwear and the tux. I grab the comb and try to put my hair in a nice way but it just goes back to messy. I grunt and sit the comb down, giving up on the hair and walking back into the bedroom. I pull the jacket over the white shirt as I walk in and grab the violet colored tie that's sitting on the dresser. I wrap it around my neck and tie it successfully. I sigh and close my eyes. I feel a pair of arms wrap around my torso making me open my eyes and turn around. I see Brice standing there in all of his handsome glory. "Why hello handsome" he says happily and kisses my lips lightly. "So where are you takin me on this special day?" I ask questioningly. Today is the day of our 2 year anniversary of us being together. He smirks and says "It's a surprise" he nuzzles his head into my neck making me laugh. "Alright then" I say looking him up and down. His tie lays loosely around his shoulders. I look up at him with a raised eyebrow making him look at me sheepishly. He shrugs making me sigh. I gently grab the tie and loop it around his neck, fixing it for him since he doesn't know how. I finish and smile happily at the golden tie around his neck. "Thank you" he says before he kisses me. I smile into the kiss and kiss him back. I giggle as he moves away from my lips and kisses my earlobe. "Alright Brice. Haha I love you too" I hear him sigh contently and pull away. He kisses my one last time on the lips then walks over to the counter, grabbing the car keys and walking towards the door. I walk towards him and he smiles at me. He opens the door for me and walks out behind me, closing the door tightly and locking it. I walk to the car and extend my hand to open the door but a hand comes around me and open the door for me. I laugh and turn to Brice. "Thank you, kind sir" he chuckles and kisses my lips. "Lots of kisses today I see" He smiles and nods. I step into the car and he closes the door as I sit down in the passenger seat. I jogs over to the other side of the car and opens the door. He sits down in the drivers seat and starts the car as he closes the door. Music starts to lightly play from the radio as he backs away from the drive way. A song that I haven't heard in a while starts playing through the car. A smile spreads across my face as I watch Brice tap his hand to the music. Our song played on the radio for the first time in years.

I look over at Brice as he smiles at me. I turn back to the road, watching the sun slowly start to fall from the sky and dim the earth. Trees and grass pass by us as we ride through the forest on a gravel path. I look over at Brice as the car slowly comes to a stop on the side of a hill. He turns off the at and turns to me. "Now stay here and don't get out until I get you, alright" I nod and he smiles widely. He jumps out of the car and goes to the trunk. I watch as he takes out a blanket and basket. He goes over to the top of the hill and lays everything out. He runs over to my door and opens it happily. As I step out of the car he grabs my hand lovingly. He closes the door behind me and pulls me up the hill lightly. I lean against him as we walk up the hill. As we get to the top a small gasp escapes my lips. A blanket lies on the grass with a picnic basket beside it. A few candles surround the blanket with a few rose peddles scattered everywhere. A single white rose lies in the middle of the picnic basket. I move my hand over my mouth as a tear slips out of my eye. Brice looks at me worriedly "Are you ok? Did I do so-" I shake my head and hug Brice closely. " no, no it's just- beautiful" I hear him sigh and wrap his arms around my waist, pulling me close. I smile and rest my head against his shoulder. I feel him pull away making me look at him curiously. He looks at me nervously then nods. He mumbles something under his breath that's inaudible making me raise my eyebrow. He gets down on one knee making my eyes widen and a gasp to escape my lips. "Seto Sorcerer I have been in love with you since my eyes meet those beautiful chocolate browns. You make my heart race when you smile and make me fall in love with you all over again when I meet your eyes. Your laugh is an angels song to my ears and your voice makes me melt. I love you with everything I have and more. Will you do me the honors and pleasure of making me the happiest man in the universe and marry me?" I nod and quickly jump into his arms. "Yes, yes, yes! Of course Brice!" I pull back and he opens a small black box that was in his hands. Inside is a black rimmed, blood red creeper face pendent with a smiler string. He slips it around my neck and smiles at me. "Sorry about not getting a ring. This was all I could afford plus it looks like what you would like" I get down on my knees to be face to face with him. "I love it. It's better than a ring anyway" He starts to lean in making my smile widen and start to lean in also. I freeze when I hear a shocked gasp. My eyes snap open to meet Brice's shocked electric blue ones. My breath stops as he starts to sway then fall to the side. "Brice? BRICE?!" I turn his face to me to see his eyes slightly closes and his breath short. I look around his body for wounds to see none. "Brice! What's wrong please tell me!" Tears fall from my eyes as a sleepy smile spreads across his face. "I love you, Seto" His voice made a chocked sob come from my throat. His voice was scratchy and almost inaudible. "No, no, no! Brice you can't leave me, not right now, not ever!" i take his hand in mine as his eyes close and his breath shortens. "I- I can fix this!" I put my hand over his heart and chant a healing spell. My hand glows a bright purple then back to normal. I look over at Brice to see him looking at me sadly but lovingly. "L-love you-" His breath stops along with his heart. A cry escapes my lips as I just watched the one I love die.

{FLASHBACK/DREAM OVER}

I scream as my body shoots up from the bed. Footsteps could be heard coming toward the room. The door flies open showing a worried Ty and Adam. I drag my legs from off of the drenched covers and over the side. I breath in the cold air of the hall as they rush to me. "Are you ok?" Ty asks as he comes to my side. Adam comes to my other side as they try to help me off the bed. "Guys, guys I'm fine. Just a nightmare" I mumble out as I stand up. "I'm gunna go for a walk" "I'll go with you" Ty pipes in, rushing to my side. I shake my head and grab my cloak that I had thrown on the ground when I ran in here after school.

I clip it on and turn towards them. "I need some alone time, alright" Adam sighs and asks "can you at least take your phone and be back in 30 minutes? If not we're coming" I sigh and nod, defeated. "Alright but can you call first before you start to freak?" They nod and I smile, grabbing my headphones and phone then walking out of my room. I plug my headphones into my phone and watch as the screen lights up. A small smile spreads across my face as tears brim my eyes at the picture of me and Brice a week before our 3rd anniversary. We were watching movies with the rest of the pack when we feel asleep making it the perfect opportunity for Ty to take a picture. I was angry at first but then I saw the picture. I walk through the living room where the rest of the team was then out the door as they curiously watch me walk by. I open the door and step out, closing it tightly behind me.

The cool air nips at my skin and the wind wipes around through my hair and cape. I shiver slightly from the cold then stick my earphones in. I plug them into my phone and randomize my playlist. Sliding my phone into my pocket, I start on my walk.

I kick a small pebble in front of me making it skid across the ground.

I stop and look up to see a park a few feet away. I walk over and sit down on a wooden bench under a tree.

Because of you. I never stray to far from the sidewalk.

I felt the bench slightly move and someone sit beside me.

Because of you. I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt.

The wind picked up for a minute then went back to normal. A small pedal falls from the tree above me.

Because of you. I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me.

The leaf falls on my lap making me look down at it. I gasp at the leaf lying on my lap.

Because of you. I am afraid.
