I opened my eyes and noticed that I wasn't anywhere near home after seeing that I was near a carnival, I looked around for Rahul around but I couldn't find him.

So I stood up and dusted my jeans, and decided to look for Rahul. Again for the second time today.

After going round a bit, I finally found him trying to ride a horse, I quickened my steps and went over there to pull him away.

As I walked past, I could hear whispers from the women and girls around, "what is she wearing?", " that's not what is in style", "doesn't she know..." "She looks very indecent" "where is her mother?"

I couldn't take all of that, so I practically speed walked to my confused twin brother.

As I approached him, I could see him arguing with the owner of the horse, "Rahul, what are you doing?" I asked with my hands on my hips, "well this man here said I had to pay him in quarters and not a transfer" he stated, "young girl, is this your brother?" The old man asked, in which I nodded a response to him.

"Do try to explain to him that we only accept coins and not some 'e-transfer' I don't even understand him, he seems a bit mentally unstable" the man said whispering the last part to me, I squinted my eyes and connected the dots together, knowing fully well that I was being judged for wearing my clothes and they didn't accept e-transfer meant something.

I pulled my brother away after apologizing that he won't show his face here ever again.

After pulling him to the place I woke up, I hit him "now this is for leaving me all alone," another hit "this is for making me look for you like a missing jewelry" and the last hit, "this is for creating a scene" I said in between hits.

"Thanks for making me realize this isn't a dream," he said as I rolled my eyes,"a few seconds after you fainted I fainted as well, all because you didn't bring food on time," he said smirking, I was about to hit him again when he apologized.

"I connected the dots and turns out we're nowhere near home," I said, "I have a feeling that dollar bills are not even existing as of now,"

"Were you just realizing that right now? I mean look at their clothes, do they look like modern America?" He asked me in a rather amusing way, "I just thought I was in a dream but when I saw you, I knew this wasn't a dream, perhaps a nightmare but not a dream"

Before I could react, a young girl walked up to us, with a smile plastered across her face.

"I don't know what to do, I mean she's smiling at us like she knows us..." Rahul started, "...Or rather is expecting us" I added.

"Hello Rahul and Anushka, you guys are right, I have been expecting you both and I know about you, in actual sense I know everything about you" she said as she smiled a little bit more.

"How is that possible?" I asked a little bit taken aback.

"Well then, I'll tell you both about yourselves, you guys were born in India and later moved to the United States of America, which is modern day America, Rahul was born first though the difference is just about four minutes..." She started but I interrupted her, "okay, okay stop there," I said "so why have you been expecting us?"

"That I will tell you when we meet with the others, all I will suggest is you come with me because if you stay here longer..." She started and I caught wind of what she meant, we didn't belong here and we looked out of place so it would be best if we went with her.

And with that, we left.
