"Arashi!" Kasai yelped, racing toward him, but the bear rammed his hip into her, and she tumbled aside. This time not getting up. Arashi dashed toward her, trying to get there before the bear had a chance to attack again.

The bear blocked his way, facing him, lips curling in what Arashi knew was a smirk. In a burst of emotion, Arashi charged the bear, who was not expecting such a bold or foolish move. He extended his paws, scratching at the bear's face. The bear caught his paw and twisted it to the side, but howled in pain as Kasai struggled forward and clasped her jaws around the bear's leg.

Arashi yanked his paw from the bear's grasp, gasping slightly at the sudden jolt of pain. The bear stomped at Kasai, narrowly missing her head, and a wild claw slashed upwards at his face.

The bear let out a furious roar, closing one eye as it bled and furiously clawing at it.

"Quick, run!" Arashi shouted, pulling Kasai toward him as they dashed away from the bear.

Arashi dove into the thicket, trying to stifle his heavy breathing as he watched the polar bear stand in the middle of the snow. Kasai shoved herself in a couple moments later, spluttering.

The polar bear, blood staining the fur around its eye, eventually huffed and trodded away.

Panic fading, Arashi leaned his head back and howled silently for a moment. He licked his paw, which was bent at a funny angle. Kasai darted forward, her eyes wide.

"What did it do?!"
Arashi groaned, trying to shift his position. "I don't really know... Do you think it's broken?"
"I hope not... Especially since I have no clue where we are."

Arashi snuck a glance outside the thicket, wincing as he realized she was right. There was a wooded area nearby, but it wasn't the familiar one he was used to. Mizu better come back soon...

"Listen, I... Don't know how to help... But should I go hunting? Should I find water- wait, no, we have snow everywhere. Um..."

"Just go hunt, I'll figure it out," Arashi sighed. Kasai seemed unsure, but he gave a nod and she warily took off, in the opposite direction that they had seen the polar bear go."

Do my eyes deceive me? Are Tiger and Falcon... UPDATING?
