It was a sunny say... I walked down the side walk, on my way to school. "Hey Abby" I say as I approach my best friend. "Hi Jessica" she replies. "We should get to school" I remark. "Yeah, we are gonna be late for our first day of high school" Abby said as she walked away slowly. I run to school passing Abby shouting, "race ya!" I win of course, Abby has always been slow. As I run up to the school, I run into a tall softmore. "I-I'm sorry" I shout. He pushes me "get out of my way!" "Im s-sorry" I say again quietly as he walks away into his group of friends. I was mad... but I would never show it on my first day. I look at the time. " 7:43! I have to be in class in 2 minutes!" I run into the school, looking for someone to help me find my class. "Excuse me?" I say to a skinny blond girl who looks like she put on a paint roller of makeup on. "What do you want!?" She snarks. "C-can you help me find room 3-B?" I ask softly "yeah, yeah down the hall to the right" she replies, turning away to continue talking with her friends. "Thank you" I shout, running to class. I make it just in time. I sit down and wait for instruction. The boy I bumped into walks into the class, looks at me, scoffs, and sits down. The teacher walks in. "Hello class today is a free day to wonder the school, meet your teachers, and make friends" as she finishes her sentence everyone exits the room.
