I was walking towards the library now that I had successfully escaped the school. It felt like some one was following. May be I was being delusional given the current situation but the possibility of me being followed by a kidnaper or a creep could nit be excluded. I turned to the next block street and waited there for the follower to pass by.

Off course it was Ross.
"Don't you have anything else to do than to follow me? " I asked angrily.

"No" he said Non chalantly

"Why did you bunked the school then? " I asked confused.

" I was getting bored" he said
I was surprised would be the understatement of the week. He bunked classes because he was bored. I repeated the same. He said yes then added " But I am very curious to know why you did it? I mean isn't it against the nerd rules to bunk classes? " I huffed. I threw a book at him angrily. He bunked, smirking at me.

I turned back and started almost running tiwards the library. He sprinted from besides me facing me and smiling " I can do this all day".
If I would have been a cartoon, you could see steam coming out fr my ears. I tried ignoring him and walked quickly towards the doorsteps of library. As a stray animal Ross followed.

As I was searching through the shelfs about the red book after passing by the deathly stare of our librarian, Ross startled me. Instead of a scream, a snarl escaped my throat. He started laughing like amaniac he is. I glared at him at pointed him to stay quiet. Eventually he stopped.

Finally, after an hour of searching I was able to find a red book on spiders. As I sat on the table nearby flipping through the pages, the red envelope similar to the one I found before fell from the book. I picked it to open it but was once again interrupted by the hooligan dancing around me. It was best to open it afterwards, I decided as I shoved the nvelope in the front pocket of my jeans. He eyed me from top to bottom and asked " What is that? " I was about to give a sarcastic reply but was interrupted my the librarian. She shushed us with a blow of saliva and air. Ross rapidly said "We were about to leave. "
We hurried out of the building in fear of getting a red card which meant I was not allowed for a month. In nerd terms it was equivalent to half yearly punishment.

I was entangled in my own thoughts that I did not notice Ross was walking besides me, quietly this time. I asked " Why are you still walking besides me? " confused by his determination to stay with me today.

" Because it felt good" He smiled, sincerity dripping down his face. I blushed. We started walking again towards my home.

"This is it. " I said standing at mu doorstep. He waved a bye an turned back whispering " I know" while walking away.
