I stood at the desk once more. The woman looked up from the thing she was looking at.

( FYI-It was a computer. The Other Place isn't restricted by anything and can therefore access any technology it wishes)

"You're back?"

"Yes."

"Interesting. And you didn't quit?"

"No."

"Let me look at your sheet....Just waiting for it to pop up....Ah! Here it is! 

Ok, it says you DID finish your quest. Good job! Okay, it also says you passed the tests! Again, congratulations! You've proved that You're kind, compassionate, caring, thoughtful, patient, loyal, brave, determined,forgiving, loving, you're creative in dangerous situations, and you have just enough empathy! Again, good for ya!!! I'm glad you passed! ...........................................................................................................................................................

Oh, and you've proved that you truly love Christine, and that she truly loves you. That was what the last test was for, proving you loved each other. Okay, I have a question; Were you under the Sea witch's spell? If so, how'd you break it?"

I paused then answered; "The spell didn't seem to effect me...."

She looked shocked, then her fingers flew across another thingy with small, squarish buttons. 

"That means....True Love, which is the greatest thing in the world! One final thing, What did you learn from your quest?"

"I learned that to succed at anything, you must be open-minded, compassionate,  caring, thoughtful, patient, loyal, brave, determined,forgiving, loving, being careful is useful too, to have empathy, and that there are good people out there. I've learned to put a little faith in humanity. That we should be nicer to people. I've learned to be more compassionate and understanding."

Where had that come from????

"You've passed. Well done. Okay, a few more questions before I send you on your way.

Do you want to go through a door or sleep and then wake up back in your life?"

"I'd like to sleep."

"Okay.... And where would you like to arrive, what part of your story?"

"The day Christine unmasked me."

"Okay. I think that's all! Have a nice rest, and a great second chance!" She smiled.

"Can I hug you?" I said that! 

"Ohmygosh YES!" She came over and we hugged. Human touch felt so very nice!

I headed back to the rooms I'd been given and as soon as I sat down, I slumped over and slept.

Bright images whizzed past, some brighter than other. After each one, the memory of it was erased. 

Ah.....Sleep.....
