Erik's POV

"Adrian! Adrian, wake up! C'mon get up! ADRIAN!!!!! GET UP, I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!!"

"Ugh! Erik, what is it?" Adrian was rubbing his eyes as he opened the door. "I have to tell you something!" "This had better be good!" He grumbled. "Okay, youcangoback!!!!" I said as fast as I possibly could. "What was that?" He mumbled. "You. Can. Go. Back." I said.

His  jaw dropped. "What?" "You can go back! C'mon! Lets go! You can go back right now!!!" I grabbed his paw and yanked him out the door. "Come on!"

Soon we were running back to reception and had stopped in front of the woman. "Hello again." She smiled. "Tell Adrian what you just told me." I interrupted her. "Oh, well...You quit your story, right? Well I can send you back! You will go back to the beginning of your story, though." She added. "I don't care! Please, send me back!" Adrian exclaimed and turned to me. 

"Thank you, so very much. I cannot believe you would do that for me! Thank you, Erik. I will never forget you!" He said, eyes tearing up. "You are welcome. It was nothing." I shrugged. "It really was something,though. You really are a wonderful person, Erik." He was definitely tearing up now. He came closer and hugged me, then added. "Oh, and if you ever want to spy on anyone, wish for my mirror then ask it to show you that person." 

He walked through a white door and was gone-my only friend here. What would I do now?!? 

I walked slowly back to my living quarters and shut the door. I cried again, because I missed Christine and because Adrian was gone and I was stuck here-FOREVER.

*FIVE DAYS PASS IN CRYING AND MOPING*

I finally entered, still sad and quite lonely now. 

I ate, I slept, I cried. There was no comfort and not even music could help-it reminded me of her. I also noticed that the bed of mine wasn't the coffin I used to sleep in...oh well. What could I do? Besides, I was enjoying this bed.

It has been about a month or so-I cannot tell time here-since Adrian left...I cannot believe it, but I miss him! He became a friend, which is astounding. I thought I would only ever have one human friend. I am quite glad to be incorrect, this time. 

"Sir, I have something to tell you." The desk-woman says, sometime later. "Yes?" I turn my head, whatever can she want?

"There is a way to re-enter your life." She said.  "Oh? Really?" I asked, not fully comprehending what she was saying. "Yes, all you must do is complete a few tasks." She sounded like she was reading off of something. "What are they?" I asked, now fully interested. "You must complete tasks and labors. They involve strength, compassion, endurance.... Do you want to do this?" 

I knew my answer immediately. "Yes."
