THE ACCIDENT

TROYS POV

I went home thinking about what Dave said and I began to question my feelings for Sally, they're more of pity than love, the only time I ever felt something real for someone was with Liz, it was actually funny when Dave said it but now that I think about it, it's actually stupid.

I don't like Sally and I don't think I ever will besides Cory likes her. I was only with her to make Liz jealous. I even messed up my friendship with Cory because of this 'love circle' thing. He deserves Sally not me, I admit that I was wrong and I shouldn't have judged Liz.

I looked at my wristwatch 8:15, I still have time. I grabbed my jacket and walked out of my house to my car, I'm going to make this right.

ELIZABETHS POV

Dave explained the entire situation to us, I felt so guilty. Everything seemed like it was my fault

"Do you think he'll ever forgive me?" I asked Sally, referring to Troy. Dave talked to us and knocked some sense into our heads. I followed Sally to her house so we could talk.

I've never felt so bad about anything in my entire life, this whole thing made me realize that I really liked Troy and not Cory. "He can't still be mad at you." Sally rolled on her bed and face me. "He cares about you." She added.

"Stop lying to me."

"I'm not lying! He's always looking at you, if you haven't noticed and when we talked, it was always about you and nothing else." I frowned, Sally can stop lying to me now. "Stop lying!"

"I'm not!" She defended herself "He was angry with you, yes but he didn't hate you! He just wished you told him that you liked Cory from the beginning instead of lying to him and pretending to be his girlfriend."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." Sally smiled

"But that doesn't mean he'll forgive me!" I'm so scared, I don't want to face him.

"Try calling him, you'll see."

I brought out my phone and dialled Troy's number, the phone rang and I took heavy breaths as I waited for him to answer the call. "Hey you've reached Troy, I'm not around right now so leave a message after the-" I ended the call. "He's not answering."

"Try calling again" I sighed and dialled the number again, it entered voicemail "he's not answering!" I complained.

"Try calling again." Sally insisted "No! He's not answering!"

"Elizabeth..." She dragged my name. "No!"

"Don't you want to hear him call you Liz again?" She teased. "That's not funny."

"Liz, Liz, Liz, Liz, Liz." She said trying to sound like Troy. "Troy does not sound like that."

She rolled her eyes. "If you want to hear the real voice, call him!" I looked at my phone and sighed "Fine." I admitted defeat and dialled Troy's number and someone picked the call, it was a ladies voice.

"Hello who's calling?" There were people talking in the background so I couldn't hear her properly.

"Uh... It's Elizabeth I want to speak with Troy."

"Oh I'm sorry, you can't, there's been an accident."
