Here is the update. I read all the comments. It motivates me to write more.

"Because he reminds me of my P'San. He acts like P'San. His way of handing stuff and treats me reminds me of my late sister, and I don't miss her when I'm with him. He is like P'San to me," exclaimed Ming heatedly.

"Are you stupid or acting like one?" questioned Wayo, hostile as well.

"Yo!!!"

"What?!!" shouted Yo.

"Meng, I have a good senior-junior relationship with P'Kit Kat now. Nobody could understand me more than my sister, and I don't want them to be too. I don't want to put him in an uncomfortable situation due to your blabbering nonsense. P'Kit is someone I don't want to lose, na weh," yelled Ming angrily.

"Shut up and listen to me. You were never good at expressing yourself or even understanding what you felt. P'San was there to guide you all this time. Only P'San could guess what the hell was going on in your head. But, did you realize.

P'San could guess because you will be sulking in the first place while P'Kit could handle and presume your emotions even if you put on a poker face. Even I can't guess it," shouted Wayo.

His stupid friend hears him out if he explains calmly.

Ming was aphonic with the information he just realized.

"Speak up, Ming. Cat got your tongue," yelled Wayo in anger.

Ming was still silent. He couldn't oppose down that.

"You regret not controlling your anger management sooner and not being able to spend more time with P'San. Do you want to regret the same way when you lose P'Kit due to your stupidity?" asked Yo with control and receive a 'no' from Ming.

"Then stop being dumb and think. Will you go and hang on someone's arms just because you like them? Will you share or bring some strangers to dine out? No right? Then please think and sort your feelings towards P'Kit.

Cause from what I observe, it looks like P'Kit has a thing for you too. He's a good person, Ming. I hope you don't hurt him unintentionally. Think about it," said Wayo as he left him alone in the changing room and went to the dinner date he was supposed to have with his P'Pha, who was waiting for him in the car.

Ming packed his stuff and rushed to get his P'Kit Kat even though his head was a total mess due to the conversation he had just now.

Does he see P'Kit Kat as more than just a senior?

Has he developed feelings towards that dimpled guy?

Why does he feel weird and upset, like he has done something wrong?

He looked for P'Kit at the auditorium only to be welcomed by the empty hall. He walked through all the open classrooms and found nothing too. The last option was the car park and taxi stand because he knew P'Kit followed P'Beam today. Ming was his only transportation back home.

But where does this guy went?

Despite searching for him everywhere, he couldn't find him, and he can't get him by the phone too. Ming can't ask P'Beam because he knew he left early with P'Forth just now.

He can't ask P'Pha too. Because he knew P'Pha might be with Wayo and get nagged again.

As time passed by, Ming got worried about the dimple guy.

What if something happened to him?

He was blank. He doesn't know what else to do. Then he received a text from his P'Kit Kat. Ming didn't wait anymore and opened the content.

'I can't go with you tonight. Sorry.'

When Ming questioned him about why or what happened, his texts got ignored.

Ming was worried and confused at the same time. He wouldn't be this worried about any person that he only likes, does he?

What if he developed feelings towards the elder without even realizing it?

Ming returned to his dorm with a lot of thoughts in his mind. But he didn't know that pretty much he lost his chance with the dimpled senior, and things won't be the same in between them anymore.

The worst feeling in the world is knowing you've been used and lied to by someone you trusted. Betrayal is never easy to handle, and there is no right way to accept it. It was not something new for him, but he couldn't take it easy as well. Kit didn't cry.

He couldn't cry. It was as if all the tears got dried up, and he felt hollow.

He wanted to cry his lungs out, but crying does not solve his problems. It doesn't bring his pain away. So, once again, his depressing thoughts was all he had that night.

Since Kit doesn't have to return home whenever he has a quiz or exam block, he didn't have to return to his hometown this week.

Phana and Beam didn't contact him throughout the weekend too. They didn't even text him to give him privacy with Ming. They didn't know their plan was a complete failure, though.

Two days went by just like a winter breeze. It was ordinary for others while different for the other half. Ming tried to invite Kit to the dinner treat that got postponed but to no extend. Kit didn't pick up his calls, nor did he check his texts.

On the following Monday morning, Beam and Phana couldn't meet Kit at their usual breakfast place. They didn't ponder on it too much. It's not unusual for Kit to skip breakfast and leave first for the class.

Beam even thought that Kit could be having breakfast with Ming at the moment. So they had their breakfast and went to professor aunty's class.

The class was soon going to start, but Kit was not there yet. Today they had to submit their assignment, which carries 30% of their final exam. Kit will never neglect anything related to his studies, especially Professor Aunty's assignment but today seems like an exception.

Beam and Phana spammed their group chats to find out about Kit's whereabouts, but their messages got ignored as well. When the morning class finally ended, Beam and Phana rushed out.

Forth was there at the meds cafeteria to have lunch with them. Shortly after that, Wayo and Ming joined them too. Beam was more anxious when he couldn't spot Kit with Ming.

"Where is P'Kit, P?" question Ming as soon as he reached their table.

"He was not with you?" asked Phana as he changed look with Beam.

"Oh, I thought he was with you both and busy. He left early on Friday night, Phi. We couldn't even have our dinner out that day. He didn't reply to my text nor calls as well," replied Ming, surprised and worried.

"Pha," called Beam as they shared eye contact.

"We have something important to do now. I'm sorry, Yo, have lunch with Forth and Ming today," said Pha as he nods at Beam like a sign, and Beam kissed Forth's lip briefly before leaving with Phana.

"What's going on?" probed Forth.

However, both Ming and Yo don't have the answer to that question.

If Ming felt worried before this, then now he felt devastated.

Phana and Beam reached Kits dorm in 10 minutes, it's not far anyway, and Kit was Beam's neighbor. They tried knocking on the door, which seems like not heard by the person inside. So they started to shout out his name.

"Ai Kit, open the door,"

"Ai kitty,"

They continued to shout his name until some of their neighbors came out to find the source of the shouting sound.

Finally, Phana decided to use the spare key to get inside the dorm. The dorm looks fine. Nothing seems uncommon there, everything was in its place, and the whole dorm was spotless.

They could hear music from Kit's room.

It was a soft melody and was not that loud due to soundproof.

Kit plays his guitar or keyboard whenever he gets free time, which is mostly at night. Therefore, he installed a soundproof system into his room to avoid disturbing his neighbors.

They tried knocking on the door, which was closed just like the main door. If Kit skipped a class, it is most probably due to his family or when he is sick.

So they opened the door slowly to avoid waking him up, in the case of him sleeping. But once again, the room was empty, and they could hear water running sound from his washroom.

The best friends didn't want to jump to a conclusion, so they waited for him. Beam took over Kit's bed while Phana sat by the study table. There were a few empty cups on the study table.

As both Phana and Beam were inspecting the room for anything infrequent, Kit walked out of the washroom only to find Phana and Beam waiting inside his room.

"What do you guys doing here? Don't you both have afternoon class today?" asked Kit.

"Exactly, all three of us are supposed to have afternoon class today. But it got canceled. Now may I know why this one person skips the morning class without even informing us?" enquired Beam straight away.

"I overslept today, and why does class got canceled?" he asked again.

"Medical professors have a weekly meeting today," answered Phana.

"Are you okay, Ai Kitty?" asked Beam, as he holds both of his shoulders to make him stand in a place.

Kit has been walking from the washroom to the cupboard,

cupboard to the study table to clean the already clean room,

and he was avoiding eye contact.

"Ai Kit, sit down here," ordered Phana. He didn't move from the study table. He ordered Kit to sit in front of him on the bed.

Kit just followed Phas's order and sat down.

"Yes, Pha?" he asked as he watches both his friends giving him a weird look, more like a worried look.

"What...?" he asked again.

"What happened with nong Ming on Friday night?" asked Phana.

Kit got taken aback, he knew Beam is a straightforward guy and talks whatever comes to his mind, but Phana was the thoughtful one in the gang. He didn't expect him to ask this question this soon.

"Nothing much. We had dinner after the photo session. Ming sends me back to the dorm. Nothing serious happened," he answered by playing with the hem of his shirt.

"Ohh. Is that all?" asked Beam.

"Yes, and I chatted with him all weekend. That's why I slept late and skipped today's class. I was going to attend the afternoon class, though. I even took an early shower," added Kit.

But Beam and Phana didn't comment on that and continued to look at him.

"Since when did you start to lie to us, Ai Kit?" demanded Phana with a dark look.

"Don't deny it, Kitty, we just met nong Ming. He told us everything. You left early on Friday night and didn't talk to him after. You drank this much coffee when you knew you shouldn't drink this much due to insomnia and the doctor's order in the first place and lying to us that you overslept. What's going on, Kit?" query Beam.

"I-I. Nothing happened," replied Kit as his voice broke at the end but still no tears.

Beam walked past Phana and stood in front of Kit.

Kit lifted his head to look at Beam when he knew the latter is staring down at him. When he lifted his head to face him, Beam slapped him hard on his cheek.

That instant, tears stream down Kits eyes like a waterfall. Beam hugged him as Kit started to cry harder in his arms.

"Say it if you're hurt, cry if you want to, tell us when it is too much to handle by yourself. Why don't you rely on us, Ai Kitty," states Beam as he tightens the hug and cries together with him.

"Never keep secrets, never lie to each other. Did you forget our promise, Ai Kit?" questioned Phana with a cracked voice too.

The gang leader had to be strong for the others, but he felt the same sad feelings as Kit and Beam.

"I'm was just a mere replacement for him. He didn't like me the way I like him, meng," said Kit as he cried, which comes out as a whisper.

"What do you mean by that? Did Nong Ming told you that?" inquired Phana.

"No. He told nong Yo that he likes to be with me because I remind him of someone who is dead," explained Kit slowly as he cries his eyes out.

"That doesn't prove that he sees you as his replacement, right?" Beam tried to console Kit but Kit smile sadly.

"He said that he doesn't love me and will never love me that way. He also said if he somehow knew that I have feelings for him in that way, he will talk it out.

He didn't just see me as a replacement Plus also bro-zoned me, meng. I'm not stupid enough to don't understand that."

"Should I drag that stupid shit here and hit the hell out of him," asked Phana angrily.

He tried so hard to make Kit love himself, start positively seeing things, and that stupid nong made it all wasted.

"Don't Pha. I was too selfish to expect more from him. It was all my fault. I'll get over it soon," stated Kit as he wiped away his tears.

"You're not selfish for wanting to be treated well. Remember that!" said Beam

"I'm fine now. I have you guys with me. It's more than enough. It will pass," added Kit as he smiles at them.

Beam and Phana hugged Kit tightly as they let him cry as much as he wants. They promised to be his pillar in any situation, and they plan to keep that promise forever.

I never expected anybody to love me and be with me forever. Feeling lonely or unloved in my own house was not something uncommon to me as well.

But for the first time, I wanted to hope for more. I wished to keep you by my side and adore you wholeheartedly.

I wanted to be happy with you. I thought I'll get all the love that I lacked in my life from you.

Love sometimes leaves us broken and lost without that person we cared for the most by our side.

So I learned my lesson now.

"I'm good on my own. I don't need anybody."
