Hye cupcakes, thanks for the suggestions you gave. It was helpful, and I'm grateful for that. I decided to spare that uncle for now. Maybe as some of you said, he might help me in future plots. Enjoy the update.

Love you guys.

Ming's POV

"P'San....... No! P'San Don't! P'SAN!!!!," I wake from the same old nightmare again.

It was raining cats and dogs outside. Maybe the weather caused the nightmares. Rain sounds romantic and lovely, but for me, rain is scary. The thunderstorm with thunder is the worst.

'Nightmares should come in a variety of ways.

Why do you haunt me with the same memories? Is this the punishment you're giving me for my mistake? I miss you so much, P.'

P'San, my one, and only elder sister. My second mother, the person I loved the most in my family. My family, well it consists of my dad, my mom, P'San, and me. We were a happy family. My mom was a caring person, but she's a workaholic. She works as an interior designer. I never knew what's my dad's occupation was in my childhood.

Weekends are family days. I start my day by seeing my mom's face and end my day with her bedtime stories. P'San always teases me by calling me a mama boy. Dad adores P'San more than me. Dads have a soft spot for their daughters. I never worry about that, though. I had mom all for myself.

Every weekend, we will visit our lake house and will spend the whole day there. P'San and I will play cards with dad or go for a swim at the lake while mom will make her signature lasagne. If it rains on that day, we will have our campfire inside the house. Dad will light up the chimney, and mom will make hot chocolate for us. We will talk and stay inside.

Our life was so happy.

At least until both our parents decided to part away.

The court decides that the kids should be with their dad. Isn't that should be the opposite? And my mom didn't fight for us too. She just left us with her last words.

"Honey, mom will be back when I could provide you both with everything you need without the worry for the money." Those were her last words before she left us.

She doesn't have any idea that all we wanted was her love for us. I didn't saw her after that, until a few months back.

At least I was hoping to be with dad. That's what I got wrong. Dad left our uncle in charge and busied himself with work.

When mom left, P'San becomes my second mother. She was always there for me. She was there when I cried myself missing my mother. She was there when I won my first basketball match. She was there when uncle become an annoying jerk. She always protects me from his stupid method of parenting. I miss her.

Our uncle is a complete example of a jerk. He never cared for us. He is my dad's younger brother. He loves to spend money in the casino and fight with his employees. Our bodyguards will have a one-to-one match with him all the time only to get bashed. Cause he will cheat, and he won't follow the rules. I wonder why the bodyguards don't hit him back during childhood and got the answer when I turned 13.

That was the first time I ever had to fight against him. I followed every Muay Thai rule I learned and fought him. He is the jerk who didn't, and that cost me my arms in a cast for two months. He was like a wild dog.

I was scared for him at that time. Then he continued that routine. More like abuse for years, and my dad had no idea. Maybe being kicked and hit by belts for years made me numb for pain, and I slowly get used to his pattern of punishments. Sometimes I wish for my mom to return and bring us back with her. Well, She didn't.

"I'm here for you, my Mimi. P'San will always trust and try to protect you. I'm here, my baby bro."

P'San used to tell me those words during my downtime. It was when it hails terribly. Rain is not my friend, and that makes me hyper-vent. This situation makes me weak and also triggered. So my sister will stay by my side and tell me those words like a mantra, and miraculously that calms me down. She knows me more than I do. Funny isn't. Over time, I got no issues with hails. But I got that back when P'San left me again. Not too bad, but still there. Unlike before, P'San is not with me to help me through it all.

I became brave when I entered high school. Thanks to puberty, I got taller and a bit bigger than my uncle, and he got older. So whenever he tried to abuse me after that, I could dodge him, or I'll just hit him back.

After that, I got myself in school fights to gain my dad's attention. But the father of mine didn't even spare me a glance. Day by day, I felt more like an orphan. All my frustrations and insecurities made me rebellious. I developed terrible anger management issues.

In the second year of high school, I meet him again, My lifeline.

Wayo returns as a new student to my high school. My school bullies, as usual, try to bully the newcomer. Wayo looked hilarious with his nerd specs and oversized uniform that time but still stay cute. Even I couldn't recognize him.

The twist was, the bullies got bullied by him, and that's how I recognized him. He got into my class as well. He didn't change a bit, unlike me, who got me an anger issue. We just had to press a resume button to our friendship and continue our lives.

Wayo knows everything that we go through at that house with my uncle. He knows my dad's super parenting skills and my mother's broken promises.

So, he becomes my family other than P'San. P'San loves Wayo exactly as she loves me. We will have movie night sometimes too.

Wayo hated when I fight cause I couldn't control myself. Since I don't feel pain, most of the time and the appearance of my uncle's face in my head makes me so angry, and I'll start a random fight. I'll just let my anger lead and hit the hell out of my opponent.

P'San will scold me and advise me about that too. Being young made me don't care about that advice. My uncle abused me for no reason for years when I was just a kid who can't protect himself together with my father's ignorance made me hate them both to the core. So being a little rebellious doesn't seem that bad to me.

Everything becomes upside down on that day. The day I got agitated by my uncle's sinister remarks about P'San and hit him up. He got hurt badly by me. I used all my strength to hit him that day. P'San tried to stop me, but I pushed her away and kept hitting him in the face in the middle of the road.

"Ming, stop! Stop it! Just stop it already," shouted P'San as she tried to pry me off my uncle.

P'San used her full strength to pull me back from my uncle, but that guy had the nerve to smirk at me, and I lost it again. That was the time I lost P'San with my anger management too. As I tried to get my hands from her grip, I accidentally pushed her to the upcoming car.

The car hit her, and I saw her body flew in the air and dropped in the road. Even though I rushed her to the hospital, I couldn't save her. My anger, my stupidity to revenge for my uncle, has made me lost my only family.

P'San left me too, and I couldn't blame anybody on that. Her last words on the journey to the hospital were,

"My Mimi control the anger... It doesn't bring any good in you. Promise to control the anger, na....."

Even on her death bed, she was worried about me and asked for only that promise. I blamed myself for everything that happens, and I was once again left alone in this world all by myself. The loss of P'San took a toll on me.

Then out of a sudden, both my parents made their appearance in my fucked up life. Dad had no idea why I was in the hospital. He, as usual, didn't say a word to me.

They both didn't blame me for the loss of P'San.

They didn't even mention anything about her after that. It felt like they completely forgot her or just erased her from their memory. I'm not sure either if they are concerned about me or don't care about her. Either way, it made me feel even worst.

Even though Wayo tried a million ways to make me smile, I just couldn't. I was like a walking dead. Sometimes I become angry with myself, and I'll punish myself too. Not as if in cutting or something, but I refused to eat or drink. I felt like I don't deserve it. P'Sans image will haunt my dreams, and I will lose my sleep too.

Few months passed, and I got hospitalized for dehydration and symptoms of depression. The doctors gave me treatments and therapy for my anger management.

I started to hate myself for what happened to PSan.

I didn't talk to my parents.

I didn't do anything with them.

I lock myself in my room.

I lose my will to live my life.

The only thing that holds me in place was Wayo. He used P'San memories to make me sane. I was not insane, but I was not myself as well. It took me completely five months to be back on my knees.

Mom tried to be lovely like she was when she left me in 5. Dad was caring too, I doubt it as acting, though. He forced me to apply for engineering, stating that it was for my best.

Does any of this make sense?!!!!!

Good.

Cause it didn't make any sense to me too. As a parent, they didn't create a happy or safe environment for me to grow up securely. They were not there as an adviser for me, but they're here now. Only to order me to do what they think is the best for me. If only P'San is here, she would've asked me about my likings first.

I wish I could keep the only promise I made to P'San.

My alarm rings and I noticed that I didn't sleep at all.

Great, just great.

Now, I have to prepare for the moon and star competition without getting proper rest. What great luck I have here.

Remembering the past is sure not a good start to the day, but still, the day has to go on. I hope the hazers won't ask us to do something crazy and exhausting.
