~Five years later~

"Nurse Ja, please pass this patient's chart to Mo'Siwat during his shift," said Kit as he double-checked the document one last time.

"If you wait for another ten minutes, he will be here, Mo'Kit," replied the head nurse, smiling teasingly.

"Oh, Is Mo'Siwat checking in early today?" asked Kit without diverting his eyes from the chart.

"No, Mo'Kit. You're checking out late as usual," she said, unamused by his comic reaction for that info.

"Ohhh, no. I'm late," whispered screamed Kit as he rushed towards the changing room.

Kit exited the changing room as soon as he entered, as he got changed in the lightning speed. The head nurse sends him off, wishing him luck to escape Mo'Beam's wrath.

Upon reaching the parking lot, Kit spotted a very angry Beam beside the car.

"Told you it's going to be late. Can't you stick to the damn schedule for once, Ai'Kitty?!" questioned Beam angrily as he got into the car along with Kit.

"Sorry, sorry. I got distracted by my new patient's medical chart and forgot the time," reasoned Kit, which made Beam give him a stupified look.

"Your boyfriend is returning from offshore after three months, and you forgot the time? Wow, Nong Ming will be glad to know that," said Beam sarcastically.

"Ai'Beam, Ming won't even bother about it. Just admit that you miss your Forth so much, and you're getting grumpy about it to me," added Kit, not bothered by Beam's remark.

Forth and Beam got married the next year upon Beam's graduation. Forth had already started working by that time.

"Well, of course, I miss my husband. Unlike your boyfriend, my husband's been away for five whole months now. I don't mind him working all day beside me, but Forth being away from me is torture," stated Beam sadly as he focused on the driving.

"Then why were you so supportive when he gets the offer in the first place, huh?" mocked Kit playfully.

"The same reason why you agreed to send Nong Ming to the offshores," replied Beam smugly.

"Yeah, in the end, we want our men to be happy," answered Kit as he heaved a long sigh.

"Yes, we do," added Beam with a content smile.

Both the best friends had a calm drive to the airport to pick up their homecoming husband and boyfriend.

"P'Forth, what should I do when I meet my P'Kit Kat at the landing gate? Should I stay still or hug him? Or should I wait for him to react first?" asked Ming worriedly to Forth, who is trying hard to get some sleep.

"Nong, you should do what you feel like doing. And Kit will be happy with just having you back in front of him. Stop worrying about it," advised Forth without moving from his seat with the eye covers on.

"What about my secret plan? Should I double-check the preparation with Wayo now or later? Will P'Pha get to distract my P'Kit Kat properly?" he asked another set of a question without a break.

"Oooooi," called out Forth as he took off his eye cover tiredly and glared at Ming.

"Nong Ming, we already had this discussion when we boarded on the plane an hour ago. I need to get all the rest and gain all the stamina I have before meeting my Beam. Because I know what plan my tiger will have in his tiny head for us, and if you ask one more question, I'll throw you out of the damn plane," replied Forth sternly as he got back to sleep.

"Fun di(sleep well), na, P'Forth," said Ming softly as he settled down in his seat as well.

After another hour of flying, the plane landed at the Suvarnabhumi Airport. Ming waked Forth gently, and both of them left the flight with the other passengers.

Ming was fidgeting with his bag back while Forth took care of the other luggage.

It's been five years since Kit and Ming started to date, and this is the first time they got away from each other for a long time. Even during Kit's internship in the outskirt of Bangkok, Ming will visit him every weekend. But, this time around, he was away for three whole months, and he doesn't know what has changed and what hasn't.

He doesn't know if there will be an awkward distance between them or if his P'Kit Kat will act indifferent to him.

He has got tanner and bulkier than before. Ming doesn't know if his love will love his new appearance.

And most importantly, he doesn't know if his secret plan works well as he planned.

As Forth nudged him with their luggage to get back his attention, Ming robotically followed him to the landing gate.

"Meng, my attire look okay, right? Do I look tired? Is my hair okay?" asked Kit tensed to Beam as they marched towards the landing gate.

They reached the airport earlier than they expected and stopped to get themselves the much need cup of caffeine intake after their tiring shift at the hospital. Upon hearing the announcement of the flight landings, Kit gets nervous.

"Ai'Kitty, you look perfectly okay. Nothing is wrong with your attire or hair. If there is anybody that needs to worry about their appearance, then it's our men," said Beam excitedly.

"Why do you say that?" questioned Kit doubtfully.

"Well, you may anticipate a much manlier or hot looking boyfriend in exchange for your lean and pale boyfriend that you sent off three months ago," replied Beam with a silly grin on his face.

"What??!!" charged Kit with a shocked face.

"Ai'Kitty, don't act like you didn't expect that already. I know your kinks," teased Beam as he wriggles his eyebrows teasingly at his best friend.

"Shut up, Ai' Asshole," cursed Kit as he tried to hide the tiny blush in his cheeks.

"Someone is getting shy......," kidded Beam again to annoy his dimpled friend.

Soon the landing gate opened, and the passengers started to walk out of it. Beam and Kit waited eagerly by the gate for the love of their life.

And they heard girls screaming and squealing at the entrance of the landing gate by pointing at somebody. Beam and Kit don't have to think hard to know why or who is getting that reaction.

"I hate Forth for being godly hot when he returns from the offshore," grunts Beam angrily.

"Well, I hate Ming for being godly handsome all the time. We need to claim what's ours from these hungry eyes, I guess," added Kit, annoyed as well.

Beam gives Kit an approving nod before both of them, left their waiting spot and walked towards their men. They saw Forth walking out of the gate like a flight runway fashion model while Ming walked out pensively beside him.

Ming spotted Kit as soon as he detached himself from the crowd.

"Owh, P'Kit-" before he could say anything, Kit bounded their lips with an unforeseen kiss. The kiss was not sweet or intense. It was passionate enough to display their relationship to the prying eyes.

Even though Ming got caught off guard yet, he kissed back with the same intimacy once he registered what was happening.

The loud cheers for their men increased another octave when Kit kissed Ming in front of everybody. Yet, the cheering doesn't end there due to the Forth Beam pair.

Forth saw a stern-looking Beam standing at far, giving him a deadly glare and Forth dared to pass a charming smile Beam's way as he bit his lips teasingly. That snapped off the last remaining control Beam had from claiming Forth in public as Kit did with Ming.

He marched towards Forth with long strides as he reached Forth and pulled on his collar harshly as he kissed his neck. Beam bit and sucked at Forth's neck as if he was scenting and marking him in front of everybody.

And Forth let him do it as he exposed his neck more to Beam, with his goofy grin and hug-carried him happily.

Once Beam loose up and separated himself from Forth, he saw the awfully annoying goofy smile of Forth directed towards him like a teasing.

"What you're looking at, Forth?" questioned Beam, annoyed by the effect Forth had on him.

"Nothing, just admiring my husband's bold move," teased Forth as he peppered Beam's face with kisses.

"What do I do? My man was away for too long that he didn't carry my mark anymore. I had to do something," answered Beam bravely.

"Someone missed me so much, I guess," said Forth as he hugged Beam again.

"No, I didn't!" declared Beam, still sulking.

"You sure?" questioned Forth with his goofy smile back on his face.

"Yeah," replied Beam shyly.

"But, I missed you like hell, na, my Beam," said Forth softly as he was still hugging Beam in his arms protectively.

"You did?" asked Beam happily.

"Hmmhum," hummed Forth as a reply which was too sweet and soft to watch.

"Why don't you guys get a room or get back home?" asked Kit when he reached their side with clingy Ming with him.

"Oi, I can ask the same to you both as well, Ai'Kitty," challenged Beam from Forth's arms.

"Why don't we have dinner and call it off? I'm sure you both are tired from your shift, and we are tired from jetlag too," addressed Forth.

"I agree with P'Forth," stated Ming as he hugged Kit sideway.

Both the couples left the airport after pleasing the eyes of fujoshi there with their intimacy. Beam dropped MingKit at their shared apartment after the dinner stop at the Korean restaurant before heading towards their sweet home.

It's better if we don't talk about what they did after reaching their respective homes.

"I can't believe this?!" screamed Kit as soon as he entered the doctor's resting chamber.

"Ai Kitty, I'm trying to get some sleep here," complained Phana from the couch he is lying on at the moment.

"I already submitted my one week off letter to the dean. I need to go back home to my boyfriend who just returned from offshore. I left him alone in our home for two continuous days, Pha. Why is my shift extended till night, huh?" Kit asked angrily at the poor Phana. (Or so we thought.)

"Just another few hours won't kill you, Kit," answered Phana.

"I don't want to work in the pit again today. I was there for 48 hours without a break. My legs are killing me," whined Kit to now sitting up Phana.

"I'm heading to the pit (ER- Emergency Department) too. Let's take care of each other till tonight's shift ends," said Phana as he ruffled the angry kitten's hair.

"I can't believe that lucky brat escaped this. How did Beam's leave letter get approved so fast?" grumbled Kit more as he followed Phana out of the resting lounge.

"Stop complaining and check the incoming patients, Mo'Kit," ordered Phana playfully as he pushed his dimpled friend towards the front desk to collect the info.

As Phana watched Kit left his side into the emergency department, he quickly took out his phone to send the text to his precious Wayo.

"Oi Ming, P'Pha texted. Now is the time?" said Wayo to Ming, who was sitting at the driver's seat.

"Have you informed P'Forth and P'Beam about the plan?" asked Ming nervously.

"I have. P'Beam is thrilled about it while P'Forth is against it, same as P'Pha. But Meng, do you think this is a good idea? I feel like P'Kit will kill you before accepting you," urged Wayo doubtfully.

"No worries, he will accept my proposal even if he wants to kill me after that," replied Ming with his silly smile.

"If you say so. Let's get started."

With that, Ming drove his car dangerously fast towards the hospital.

"Mo'Kit, there is an emergency case coming in," announced one of the head nurses to Kit as she winked at Phana knowingly.

"Pha, stay on standby. I'll divert the patient to you if there are more than one," ordered Kit as he gets more focused and earnest on his duty.

That's how Kit always is. He will whine and complain about the long shift before the shift starts. Once it starts, you can't stop him from working, and that dimple guy will forget time and place as he tends to his patient-focused.

Soon the interns and nurses bought in a heavily injured accident victim into the ER. The patient's white dress was drenched in blood as he got several cut's on his body.

"Mo'Kit, the patient is here," said the intern as she set the patient on the bed.

"What is his readings?" asked Kit as he turned around to get the new patient's chart in his hands, only to gasp in shock upon seeing the patient.

"Oh, my Ming," called out Kit as he inhaled sharply to make his lungs work.

He quickly got near his boyfriend as he watched the man wincing in pain, barely conscious.

The emotional side of Kit wants to hold the heavily injured Ming in his arms protectively while the rational side of him is stopping him from doing that, afraid of causing more damage.

"Oh my god, oh my god, what happened to you?" asked Kit more to himself as he moved around tensely.

"P'Kit...," called out Wayo as he reached there escorted by another intern.

"Nong Yo, what happened? Did you get hurt as well, Nong Yo?" questioned Kit about the younger even though he was so close to having dyspnea at the moment.

"I'm fine, P'Kit~" before Wayo could explain further, Beam and Forth reached the scene.

"Ai'Kitty," called out Beam to stop the barely holding on Kit.

"Good that you are here, Beam. I might need your opinion about Ming's head after the CT scan," said Kit quickly as he moved around to get the necessary drugs and equipment to treat Ming. The slight tremor in his voice is evidence of him attempting hard to keep his upcoming tears in check.

"Kit, look at the chart before starting to treat him," advised Phana as he tried to stop Kit from his panic mode.

"Everybody knows what to do for an accident case, Pha," replied Kit as tears successfully started to drop from his eyes.

"Yes, I know. But, we have to follow the procedure," reminded Beam as he held Kit from moving at all.

"FINE!!!" responded Kit angrily as he took the patient's chart from Phana's hand.

Once he read it, he was still crying. But Kit marched towards Ming with angry steps as with the chart itself he hit him.

"P'Kit Kat, you can't hit your patient?" complained Ming as he held the angry kitten's abusing hands.

"Are you a patient? Are you a bloody patient?!" questioned Kit as he continued to hit his now fake accident patient.

"Cause of the accident is because you wanted to prank me? And got injured by paint colour named as fake blood? I can sue you for almost causing me a damn heart attack. The hospital can sue you. Do you know that?" asked Kit crying as he kept hitting Ming.

"I didn't know you get so scared about this," said Ming dejectedly as he tried to hug Kit in his arms.

"Do you have any idea what I felt when I see you like that? You bloody idiot!!" cursed Kit as he hit Ming more. Ming tried to hug Kit and comfort him again. But with the hitting and thrashing, it was pretty hard to bring the angry kitten into his arms.

"My P'Kit Kat, if you finished hitting me, can you please pass me the box by the table? You intern took it away from me when she bought me in," stated Ming gently.

Kit left Ming's side to get that damned box as he angrily wiped away his stubborn tears. For a moment, he felt like his life was ending. Like all the light in his world got consumed by darkness. His heart was still beating fastly in his chest, and he felt like he might drop anytime. If anything at all happened to his Ming, Kit doesn't know what he would become.

Kit tossed the box to Ming without a bother about it as he still tried to wipe away the new set of tears. Luckily his HOD (Head of Department) is not here tonight. Or else he doesn't know how he would react, and Kit still doesn't know how he will face his intern and nurse after his emotional outburst.

"P'Kit Kat, look at me please? I'm sorry I did this. I didn't want to scare you. I just wanted to make this day memorable for you," commented Ming softly as he hugged the crying Kit in his arms.

He didn't expect his P'Kit Kat to get this worried.

"Give a good reason why I shouldn't break up with you right now?" asked Kit furiously with his now red nose due to crying.

"Because I did all of this to propose to you. I wanted to create an unforgettable memory for you. Forgive me if I went overboard," added Ming apologetically as he kissed Kit's forehead.

"What??!!" questioned Kit, stupefied by his reasons.

"Will you please accept all of my goods and flaws and stay with me forever? Will you please marry me, P'Kit Kat?" proposed Ming genuinely as he opened the box with one hand to reveal the matching wedding rings.

Kit being flabbergasted is not an understatement. Someone, please tell him why he loves this idiot in front of him again.

"If you pull anything like this on me again, I'll kill you myself. Do you hear me?" warned Kit as he hugged Ming tightly.

He hasn't got a grip on his emotions. The poor guy got shaken by tonight's events. The long ordeal upheld in front of him has scared him to the core, and honestly, he forgot to breathe for the first few minutes.

"So, is that a yes or no, P'Kit Kat?" questioned Ming, teasing as he returned the hug with the same firmness.

"You bloody fool!" scolded Kit as he blushed a little.

"Tell us, Kitty. Is that a yes or no?" teasingly asked Beam from the side.

"I can't believe you guys supported him with this idea!" exclaimed Kit.

"I was against it till the very end Kitty," reasoned Phana with an apologizingly smiling Wayo beside him.

Forth straight away lifted his open palms as surrender without even arguing.

"I hate you all!!!" shouted Kit with the unfairness that happened to him.

Today was an unusual day for him.

Kit had his shift like any other day until his duty got extended till night without any reason. Then he saw his boyfriend drenched in fake blood, which he just discovered after a traumatic event. Last but not least, he got a marriage proposal in the hospital with a fiance acting like an accident patient.

Living his twenty-seven years on this earth, he never lagged entertainment. It's because he had his daily dose of fun and emotional turmoil in the name of family and friends.

To add up with it, now he has a very prankish fiance, soon to be husband, who Kit loves with all of his life.

Kit didn't know his life might change for the better when he met the cold freshmen in the moon and star competition five years ago.

Now, thinking back about it, life is beautiful with its exciting twists.

Love doesn't need to be perfect, it needs to be genuine, and now Kit knows the real meaning behind it.
