Y/N POV
I can't get the previous event, of today, out of my head. Why didn't he answer my question? Does he still having feelings for her?

Anyway, tonight's the special night he has planned for us, maybe I can get some answers out of him then. I can't just forget the way he reacted to my question.

*Time skip*

After getting ready I made my way to the bounty to meet Jay. Nerves built up inside of me but I know that I must confront him today, otherwise the thought of him still being in love with Nya, will eat away at me.

"Hi sweet cheeks" Jay says cheerfully as he came out from the front door of the bounty.

"Um.. hey" I say anxiously but force a smile upon my face.

"You ready to go?" He says while putting an arm around my shoulder.

"Yep" I say trying to sound enthusiastic and happy. As we walk away from the bounty, towards the special place Jay is taking me, we hear that same bratty voice, as usual.

"Oh, look at you two love birds, you're just perfect for each other" Nya shouts mockingly from her bedroom window.

I put my head down and continued walking with Jay, however he turns back to look at Nya. I turn around to check on him and catch him winking at her.

Wait what?! Why was he winking at her?

He turns back around and noticed that I caught him.

"Um.. lets hurry up and get to our special place" he says nervously chuckling while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Er.. yeah sure" I say happily trying to cover up the confusion and despair I felt inside.

Jay's POV
We arrive at our special date that I had planned for a long time. A beautiful candle lit dinner at y/n's favourite resturant, that I managed to hire for just us two tonight.

Y/N POV
The sweet aroma of roses fill my nose as we enter the resturant. The lights from the distant houses gleemed and the moon light shone brightly over the peaceful town, creating a stunning, mesmerizing and certainly unforgetable view out from the windows of the resturant.

"T-this is.. words can't even desribe how wonderful this is Jay" I say choaking a bit while pulling him into a warm hug.

"I knew you would love it. This place is just for us tonight.... well us and the cooks of course" he says giggling and I smile at him lovingly.

Captured by my emotions, I forget about the whole Nya situation. I focus my thought on it once again and the delightfulness and smile on my face soon fades.

"What's wrong?" Jay asks, realising my change in expression.

"I want you to answer this question, honestly, Jay. Don't hessitate like you previously did." I say to him sternly.

Jay's POV
My face begins to heat up and palms begin to sweat when I figure out what she means by the question she is about to ask. I thought we got over this. Why does she have to bring this up again, and why now?

"Um.. okay. It better not be a math question cause I suck at that" I say jokingly, trying to cover up the fact that I know exactly what she's going to ask.

"Do you still love Nya?"

"Er..."

Y/N POV
Once again he replies and acts dumbfounded by my question.

"What do you mean er...?" I shout at him begin to feel fustrated.

"Well it's a hard and stupid question y/n" he says rubbing my arm, pretending to be caring.

"Stupid! With the way you've been acting lately, I'd say it's a very resonable question." I say, feeling very aggravated by the situation.

"Well i don't want to answer it!" He screams in my face.

"That's it then. I knew you liked her. I asked this question this morning and you flew away, completly ignoring me. I saw you wink at her when we left the bounty. The signs were all there! I was stupid enough to think you'd ever get over her, to think that you'd ever love me more!" I shout back.

In the spur of the moment thing, I grab a glass of water and throw it in his face because my bundle and weight of emotions kick in. I run out of the resturant, well aware of the shocked looks the staff were giving me.

"Y/N!!!" Jay shouts as he runs after me. I start to pick up speed, but with these ridiculous high heels, it seems impossible.

I feel a strong, tight grasp around my arm. I turn around only to be met with a pair of infuriated eyes.

"What do you think you're doing?! Embarasing me infront of those staff, after I was nice enough to take you out to this place!" He yells in a quiet whisper.

"I don't give a shit about embarasing you now let me go!!" I scream at him, while struggling against his grip.

I notice the rage build up in his, usual cheerful, blue eyes and I know I'm in trouble. He raises his free hand and slaps me around the face. I fall onto the floor holding my throbbing cheek, as tears stream down my face.

"Now we are going back in there and we will enjoy this night, that I spent way too much money on, just to make you happy!" he orders while vicously lifting me up and shaking me.

I nod, in silence, still feeling distraught and torn apart by his sudden out burst and violence.

"Good girl, let's enjoy ourselves tonight, I only want to make you happy" he says softly while removing my hand from my, still stinging, cheek and caressing it.

He kisses me on the lips deeply, yet I feel no passion or love in it or for him anymore. I push him off.

"Y/N you don't want to make me angry again! Do you?" He says through gritted teeth.

I shake my head quickly.

"Good now kiss me" he says before reconecting our lips. I reluctantly kiss him back and become relieved when he breaks the kiss.

He grabs my arm and pulls me back into the resturant. I stare at him as we walk, wondering who the hell this person was, with me, right now? Because it certainly wasn't the Jay I knew.
