What Vanilla looks like

~Vanilla POV~
Today's the day!!  Today's is the day I finally get to see him.  It's been five years since that Christmas party we met again. We were riding in the car to get to our new house.

~Flashback~
I was sitting by myself in the corner,  by the tree.  When the door opened.  Everybody turned towards the door and waited to see who was arriving.

A well built man in his late twenties came walking in the door with a beautiful woman.  Some people gasped and awed, but many went on doing what they were doing before. 

I've seen him before, but I just couldn't rack my brain for the life of me to figure out who it was.

Suddenly, it clicked. I gasped, then looked away. That was Kyler Dylan.  The very man that I grew up with when I was younger.  That very man that I loved for so long was here right now. He looked around the room slowly.

His eyes slowly landed on my body, and I could feel them taking every inch of my body in. Slowly. I built up the courage to turn around and look at him. When I turned around his eyes locked with mine instantaneously.

I couldn't help but shiver.  His eyes held lust and longing.

He smirked and walked over to me silently. He sat right next to me. I blushed under his intense gaze. We sat their for a couple of minutes before he finally took his eyes off me and said. 

"Hey Vin" He said in a husky voice. I shivered once again, with the tone he used toward me.

"H-hi Kyler" I squaked back and blushed. I could hear him chuckling before he spoke again.  "So, what are you doing here?" He said.
"I was invited by my mothers friend,  and what about you?  I didn't know you were coming back.  I thought you left to get away from this town. "

He shrugged without saying a word and looked out to the crowd then looked back at me, before he answered. "Well Vin,  I missed this place.  I missed the people. I missed my family. "

I changed the subject quickly. " So who is the beautiful woman over there? "

"That's Stellia. She's a friend of mine, that I happened to recently meet again. "

"O-oh, well go to her. She keeps giving you side glances. " I smiled sadly to myself as he got up and said his goodbyes to me.  "Well, it was nice to see you again Vin.  I'll talk to you soon? "

"Yeah. Soon"

He walked over to his date and started to talk to other people as he gripped her waist. I looked away quickly,  as a strange feeling hit my heart.  I sat their alone for the rest of the night looking at all of the groups of people.

~Flaskback over~
I looked up just in time to see the new house. It was huge,  but it was so pretty.  I couldn't wait to explore it. In a few minutes the car stopped and my mom and dad got out of the car and so did I. 

We got the easier things to carry to the house first, like me bag and my mom and dads bag. As we got to the house it started to become even more enchanted by it.

When we walked into the threshold I looked around in awe. It was so magnificent and I couldn't believe I lived here now. I went up the spiral staircase to a door all the war in the back on the left. 

I opened the door to an almost babyish pink tinted room.

Instantly, in that moment, I knew this room would be my room.
