Finally reaching the front porch, Cassidy lets out a shaky breath. While she didn't personally know Shane, the sight of his death rehashed some long forgotten memories. Ones that the movie star never wanted to remember. And to top it all off, the constant blame game from Joey was only making her more upset. 

Closing her eyes, Cassidy leans up against the railing, attempting to calm her breathing. As she starts this process, however, a familiar voice chimes in from the background.

"Are you ok?" he asks, causing the movie star's eyes to snap open. Taking in a deep breath, she turns around to face her ex-boyfriend. 

"Why the hell do you care?" Cassidy mutters, glaring daggers into his face. 

"I never stopped." Oli replies, sending a sympathetic glance toward her. "And besides, you snapped at one of your oldest friends a few minutes ago. Rightfully so, of course."

"Yeah right." she mumbles, letting out a sarcastic chuckle. Wiping away any stray tears, the movie star recomposes herself. "Well, I better get back inside."

Brushing past her ex-boyfriend, she reenters the house. Quickly making it into the dining room, Cassidy sneaks into the back of the group, which is still surrounding Shane's body. From her spot, she spots Joey pick up a piece of paper from the renegade's pocket and open it.

"If you're reading this, I have failed in my mission. My killer is not who you might think it is. It's the house itself, which is possessed by an ancient evil that has locked it in time. I came here tonight with the intention of destroying it. I am a member of a secret organization known as the Society Against Evil, and we've been battling this wicked force for centuries. 

There are four artifacts, which the evil has hidden behind a series of puzzles and clues. If they can be gathered and the binding ritual performed, the evil will be locked away. However, to complete the final task to retrieve each artifact, the group must vote on two people who must undertake a dark challenge. Tragically, one of them will die.

But to help you along the way, the Society Against Evil has marked the clues with their symbol. You have until sunrise to recover the artifacts, before you are trapped here forever. What lies ahead will not be easy, but I'm afraid you have no choice if you want to get back to 2016.

As Joey finishes reading the note, most of the group cries out, scared of what is to come. Locking eyes with her older sister, Cassidy sends the gambler a worried look.

"Okay! So there's an evil spirit runnin' around here?" Glozell questions, trying to clarify the situation. "But we gotta find, what? Like four of these little things? To untrap it? Or we gonna be stuck in this house forever?"

"Guys, I think we should leave." Joey announces, causing the movie star to nod along. "Follow me. I have a car that can take us out of here."

Rushing past his guests, the savant quickly exits the mansion, as the others follow behind. Once everyone is outside, the group begins making their way toward the vehicle. Right as Joey, Cassidy, and Justine are almost there, an explosion erupts from the car, causing everyone to jump back in fear. While the guests begin shrieking, a mysterious figure can be seen, watching its future victims.
