On the warm red earth

A document in her hands,

Though she cannot read

She understands.

This is the ticket

To freedom

For her,

And for Nalago.

Yet,

She knows,

That with freedom

Comes responsibility.

She must plan,

She cannot rush,

Headlong

Into the throng.

Pieter may be the key,

She will test him,

Best him

If she can.
