I wake up on my bed. I look around. Was that a dream? She got up. She felt a little dazed but she managed her way to the living room. She saw someone sitting on the couch. Just the back of their head.
"Whos there?" Her voice sounded alarming. The guys head snapped around and stood up. It was Matpat
"Oh you're awake." He was wearing swimming trunks, a tanktop, and flip-flops. To the left I saw a large metal object laying against the chair.
"What are you doing here?"
"Uh... I guess I should start from the beginning."
*Rewind to the night before*
¥Matpats pov¥
I was metal detecting on the beach when I hear splashes of water. I thought it was just the waves until I saw two figures running. I took off the head set and ran after them. They ran a good distance but I catch up when they reach a dead end. Under the moon light I could see Femi's features. She looked terrified. This is not someone she knows. She tripped over the rock and the other figure moves closer. On instinct I ran over and hit the guy over the head with the metal detector. I also reliezed how heavy my metal detector is. He fell to the ground and I picked up Femi.
"Hang on Femi. I got you."
Her eyes closed.
"Don't give up on me just yet."
(Flashback over)

"... So that leads us here." He finished.
I huggeds him.
"Thank you." I let go of him and I see a red tint crepping on his cheeks.
"U-Uh No problem."
"You want something to eat?"
"Nah. I should really get going."
"Come on. Please?"
"Oh sure what the heck."
