You're Helping Me?

Ally's POV

Sunlight peaked through my eyelids as I attempted to open them. It felt like someone had used gorilla glue to shut them tight. All I saw was white and I felt sore. And all I felt was a slight stab in my upper right temple.

Ugh, tripping hurts a lot.

Colton's POV

As soon as I got home I got Ally out of the backseat and lied her down on the sofa that was still wrapped in plastic. I went in the kitchen to grab Advil, water, and a snack. People are hungry after being in fights, right?

I closed the pantry and walked back in the living room to the sofa where Ally was. She started groaning and moving around causing the sofa to squeak.

"Al? Are you up?"

"Askndfjks"

"Ok...I guess so...here, take this." I handed her the advil and water and started to cautiously look over her. "Are you bleeding anywhere?"

"Probably not, I only tripped. Where am I anyways?"

"Oh, uh, your in my house. And, if you only tripped then why was there a full grown drunk man lying down two feet away from you?"

"Oh, him. See, he tried to attack me I guess, but I just punched him and he got knocked out. I was walking out and headed home, but then I tripped on some asparagus that I didn't pick up from the groceries I spilled." I was speechless, that was crazy hot for a girl. Such a shame it ended in stupidity.

"Well uh, thanks for getting me out of there." She replied rolling her eyes.

"Yeah." Then followed an awkward silence. "Do you need a ride home? You may have a concussion and you shouldn't risk walking."

Ally's POV

"Yep, that would be great, thanks." I shot up but my eyes blacked out and I had to sit down again. "Fooey."

"Can you even stand? Or walk at the most?"

I lifted myself up and started shaking pretty bad. Once again, I fell back on the sofa groaning because I must have looked pretty pathetic at this point. I must have a concussion. I hear chuckling and started to get mad.

"You know what, punk, just go get in your car and I will meet you out there in a second."

"Ooh punk, I like that name. Tell you what Picasso, I will go to the car but you have one minute before I come back in and get you a wheelchair or something." Picasso, really?

"Fine, whatever, just make sure the passenger seat is cleared." Colton walked out the house and I stood up again. My legs were wobbly but not as shaky as the first time. It took a minute to get my legs to stand but they finally began to feel normal.

I looked around the room he put me in. It was quite a beautiful home. It wasn't fully furnished but the living room looked like a great place for a family to hang out in. There was the sofa still wrapped in plastic in which I was previouslyon, a big plasma TV over a fireplace, and huge windows with pretty green and purple swirly patterned drapes. The room had a hardwood floor and high ceilings. Surrounding the fireplace were cabinets that probably contained games and/or movies.

Concentrating back on walking, I moved my right foot first, then my left, and kept walking in circles until my legs gained full feeling again. Much better. Oh, oh, and then the pins and needles hit. Ohhh God, why'd both my feet have to fall asleep!

I waddled out the door wincing with each step but ended up in a kitchen. Wasn't this the way Colton left? Looking for a door I sighed in frustration, this house is a maze! I finally spotted a door and made my way towards it.

"Ow! Ow ow ow!" I grabbed my thigh and looked over to see what demonic item dare put pain upon me. Cursed kitchen countertop.

I limped my way over to the white door and and exited into a backyard full of lumonous green grass and flowers. Great, more adventuring... I closed the door behind me and spotted a gate. An exit!

Hastily making my way to the exit I clapsed my fingers around the cold metal and forced it to the side. I saw Colton in his car and made my way down the small hill his house sat on. I got in the car and looked at Colton who hadn't payed me a mind's thought.

"I'm pretty positive that was more than a minute."

"Oh it was, it was seven to be exact." His face was buried in his phone and his lips were pressed tight in concentration.

"Why didn't you come back in to help me? I was lost!"

"My seat is really comfortable." He smirked and started the car. My God, that is so adorably rude.

We were five minutes into the drive before I remembered my groceries. "Wait!" Colton slammed on the brakes and looked at me with wild eyes.

"What?!"

"Where are my groceries? The money I paid for those came straight from my wallet and I don't have a job so my money shall not be wasted!" He pointed to the back car seat and I saw a heap of groceries back there. "Oh, thanks. So, where are you driving me? Do you have my address?"

"Nope." Colton said shaking his head. He opened up a GPS app on his phone and shoved it front of my face.

"7889 Curtwell Drive." I mumbled as I typed each letter and number into his phone. He began to drive again and I couldn't help but wonder where he had been going before. I turned on the radio and started to hum along until it was abruptly stopped.

"No."

"No? It's music."

"Don't care, just leave it off. The autotune in that dude's voice is going to kill me."

"You're just mad you can't sing." I crossed my arms and stared out the window.

Arriving at Ally's house

"Ok well, thanks." I said as I reached in the back grabbing my groceries and opening up the door.

"No prob, just stay away from bars. Wouldn't want you getting in fights and tripping again." He said winking at me.

"It wasn't even a fight, I had him out before he could even respond from my slap." I stuck my tongue out and closed the car door. And with that I ran to my house, like not wanning, legit running; I must've been at least an hour or two late.

"Ally there you are! What took you so long?" My mom exclaimed at my entrance.

"Long lines in the market, sorry." I lied. Of course it hurt lying to my mom but what mom wants hear from their child that they knocked out a drunk man but then tripped and got a slight concussion.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I got the food out of my bag and handed it to her explaining what I bought and what it was intended to be used for.

"Ok honey, just come back down in about an hour so we can eat." She said smiling slightly.

I walked up stairs to my room and grabbed my computer so I could write another blog update since I had no homework. Perks of study hall.

Well hello citizens of this boring city, no offense Mr. Mayor ;), Anyone else meet the new kid? Quite a handful huh? But I must say, acne has never looked better.

On another note, a new restaurant opened up downtown and from what I heard, it's an awesome hangout place for after school due to amazing shakes and burgers, maybe I will check it out tomorrow. See if you can come catch me?

On my very last note, I haven't updated this story in a week so here is a quick entry on my blog story 'Cameron's Escape'.

Cameron kept running and running in the woods until she reached the county line. 'Did I really reach freedom?' Cameron thought, just as a twig snapped behind her. She whipped her head around only to see nothing. 'I am not taking any chances this time.' Cameron ran past the county line and into the road.

Cars zoomed around her and honked ferociously at the 9 year old girl standing in the street. Cameron ran across the rest of the road into another forest. Forests were like a safe haven, you could go anywhere in them and it would be hard for someone to track you in there, unless of course it was muddy and you left footprints and you weren't smart enough to cover your tracks.

Cameron layed down on a mound of leaves that she fixed into an exceptional bed. The sun was starting to set and she felt invincible. No one could find her out here, no more tests, needles, labs, nothing. She was free. She could go to a foster care center and get adopted. Live normal. 'Could life be any better?' she thought as she drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

I finished the story, uploaded the blog and story to MaverySays.com and closed my computer just as my mom called me downstairs for dinner.

"Ally dear, dinner is ready!"

"Ok mom, coming!" I yelled back down as I uploaded the blog and chapter to my site. I slowly got back up and walked down the stairs careful not to trip over anything. Or bump my thigh into something. That area still hurt.

~(^.^)~

Hmm..How was that if anyone is reading this still? I saw nine readers and thats pretty awesome in my book! If you have any feedback I am more than happy for anything that comes my way since i'm not a good writer and I do want to get better!
