Gibbs POV

When I woke up, Abby was still asleep in my lap, so I gently stood up and put Abby back on the chair and walked into McGee's room. The nurses had propped him up, he was sat up, and the only thing that told us he was still alive, was the faint beeping noise coming from one of the many machines that McGee was hooked up to. Suddenly, we heard someone walk into the room, we all expected it to be a nurse or a doctor, but as we all turned around we all saw Abby trudging into the room.

I walked over and hugged her, she hugged back, then we all left her alone with McGee since we all knew they were really close friends, and I suspected more. So once we walked out, I told everyone to go home, we had all been here for nearly 7 hours, and me and Abby were the only ones that had actually had sleep, they all refused to go home.

Abby's POV

They all walked out, leaving me with a lifeless McGee, he must have been put back to sleep, or fallen to sleep, whatever it was I didn't care, because I still love with him no matter what. I started talking to him quietly until a nurse came in saying that he was losing life, she asked me to leave, I obeyed.
I walked out and then went to hug Gibbs.

Gibbs: he won't die, I haven't given him permission to die yet Abbs, don't worry.

Abby: he will, I know it, that's my best friend in there Gibbs.

Gibbs: I know Abbs don't worry, he will be ok, I promise.

Abby: ok Gibbs I trust you.

After about an hour, we were aloud back in, but they weren't sure if he would live. Gibbs and the team let me go in first, I started talking to hi. Like I had before.

Abby: you are my best friend, please don't die, I couldn't live with out you, do you remember our song, what a stupid question, you don't even remember me, how are you going to remember our song, I do though, I remember it, I play it everyday, because you are my absolute best friend, better than Ziva!

Suddenly I noticed that the beeping was speeding up, a different nurse came running in and asked me what I had been saying to McGee, because they weren't sure if he would live, and apparently what ever I had been saying had triggered something in his mind, and he is now waking up, this meant that he would probably wake up and live, and it was all because of what I said and sung, I told her that I had been singing a song and that I had spoken to him before, then she asked me to leave so that she could help Timmy wake up.

Ziva POV

Abby walked out of the room surprisingly happy considering the circumstances, Tony asked her why, and she answered, being brief she said that she had spoken about some stuff and then sang a song then one of the machines beeping had sped up, and a nurse came rushing in.

So we were all quite happy, until the nurse came back out looking very solemn.
