McGee's POV

I'm headed down to Abby's lab, I'm really excited, we can spend time together, while doing our jobs. I truly am still in love with her, but she will never feel the same way, and she will never know that I am still in love with her, I never stopped loving her. She is just perfect, I wish she was mine, but she can't be, I need to get over her, I will probably get Tony to find me a date for tonight or tomorrow, maybe that will take my mind off of Abby.
*DING*
The elevator just got to the labs floor, knocking me out of my daydream, the music was turned up really loud as per usual, so I decided to sneak up and scare her, even though we went out before, we still are great friends. So I quietly sneak up behind her, although I don't see why I do, I could come in here riding on an elephant, and she still wouldn't notice me, I grab her sides, and she spins round and falls over on top of me, I will never admit this to anyone, but I love this, I don't want to stand up. But we have to, I need to help her decrypt the messages, and she needs to get on with her forensics stuff, so I pick her up and lie her on the floor while I stand up, I then hold out my hand to help her up, she takes it and starts talking about the messages, I have to take extra care to listen to what she is saying, because all I can focus on is how beautiful she is.

Abby: got it Timmy?

McGee: uh what

Abby: I said, you got it?

McGee: um yeah sorry Abbs.

I get to work trying to decrypt the conversations, but I take forever on purpose, just to spend more time with her. But it feels like as soon as I start, I am done.
GOT IT!!! We said at the same time, then looked at each other, then both burst out laughing

So we call down Gibbs, and then wait.

Gibbs: hey Abbs, guess what I brought you?!

Abby: a... Caf-pow?

Gibbs: how did you guess.

McGee: we worked for about half and hour, and got the conversations decrypted, they are all about money and how longs been since they talked.

~~~2 days later~~~

We finally solved the case, that Oscar guy had done it, but someone killed him, his name was Harry Goldsberg, and that someone was a woman who killed him with a high heeled shoe, she was called Alice Montgomery.

So now I am down in the lab with Abby, Tony and Ziva. We are all talking, we decide to play truth or dare, Tony goes first.

Abby: ok Tony, Truth or Dare

Tony: um, what the heck, truth

Abby: ok, do you love anyone at the moment?

Tony: yeah, yeah I think I do.

Then went Ziva

Tony: truth or dare, Ninja

Ziva: number one, don't call me that, please, and number two, uh truth I guess

Tony: ok, are you in love at the moment? He asks hopefully

Ziva: um yeah. I believe I am

I went next

Ziva: truth or dare, McGee

McGee: uh truth

Ziva: are you in love with anyone at this moment in time?

McGee: yes, pretty sure. I think I saw Abby's head and shoulders drop, but it must have just been my imagination

Abby went next

McGee: ok Abbs, what do you pick, truth, or a dare?

Abby: uh truth.

McGee: ok are you in love with anyone?

Abby: I think I am, yes maybe, I don't know, I think maybe!

McGee: my heart dropped, I mean, I knew she would never be in love with me, but it pains me for here to say it. Everyone started talking, but I was not a part of this conversation, I stood up, and walked out, I just didn't want to be there at that point.

Abby POV

When I answered the truth in our game of truth or dare, I think I saw McGee's head and shoulders drop, but it must have been my imagination, I was really disheartened when he said that he was in love with someone, because I knew it wasn't me, and I just hurt for him to say it, then me, Tony and Ziva started talking, until, Timmy stood up and walked out really quickly. I started to get worried when he wasn't back in 10 minutes, but blew it off.
