After Diancie changed back to normal Yveltal shot off another beam at us. SERIOUSLY?!

   But a beam of bright, colorful light saved us from turning to stone. We all turned our heads amd saw Xerneas not far off from the mountains.

      The two legendary pokemon stared at each other. As if having a silent conversation we couldn't hear. Finally, Yveltal screeched then flew away from sight.

     Clemont sighed, "We're all safe now."

    Pikachu collapsed to the ground, Ash gasped and pucker up Pikachu. "Pikachu, tell me what's wrong?! "He asked.

    The bridge of Pikachu's tail turned grey ; Pikachu was turning to stone.

       I suddenly realized, Before Diancie mega evolved, that beam must've hit Pikachu in the tail.

   "Pikachu!! "Ash shouted, the stone was up to his arms. "C'mon Pikachu...Pikachu!! " Ash pleaded.

   Pikachu looked up into Ash's teary eyes, then he closed them one last time. Bonnie clutched onto Serena and started sobbing into her lap. Clemont started snuffling with Gardevoir.

      "You know what you must do now." Xerneas whispered into my mind. I sighed, took off my glove and gave it to Bonnie, who's face was stained with tears.

     "Watch over Gardevoir for me. "I whispered, "And protect her for me Gardevoir." I turned to Gardevoir.

    "What...what are you? "She managed to ask.

    Ash stood up and turned to me, "Keep your promise Ash." I said, taking out my pokeballs and placing them on the ground before taking Pikachu into my arms.

         Closing my eyes, I called in my concentration and imagined Pikachu being retracted from the stone. Something squirmed in my arms, I looked down and saw Pikachu smiling up at me.

     One last time, I took a good look at my friends, especially Gardevoir, then, closed my eyes.

   Will I die? If I do do I go to heaven or back home? What will happen then?

   General P.O.V

      Pikachu glowed a slight green, when it disappeared he was back to normal again.  Ash gasped, so happy his best friend didnt die.

       "Elli!! "Bonnie shrieked, Everyone looked down to where she was pointing to.  

       Grey started creeping up on Elli's legs as she opened her eyes with a smirk in her face.

     "Don't cry over me." She spoke, Xerneas cantered on a nearby, ready to do her promise. "I'll see you again. Until then, have fun."

       Those were her last words as the stone creeper up on Elli's face, completely turning her to stone.

       The four tried their best to not cry, but it was so hard, especially for Bonnie. Who had the best connection with her.

    Bonnie clutched onto Elli's glove, her last thing of Elli. Finally, she placed it carefully into her yellow purse, next to Diancie's diamond. (Although she didn't notice it)

      When all seemed lost, green waves rocked the land,as if sending out some kind of radio wave message. The three Curbink that layed there turned back to normal.

     The three thieves, their pokemon, and unfortunately Team Rocket turned back to normal.

      Xerneas's body was glowing, suddenly, she started to turn into a tree.

     "Xerneas has decided to slumber here, to protect the forest." Dace explains, eyes furrowed.

       Diancie perked up, "Xerneas is Speaking, Elli too!! "

     "What are they saying?! "Bonnie pleaded.

    "See? This is not death, this is the promise of life.And the beginning of hope." She repeated.

      Ash sighed a deep sigh, "I get it, thanks Xerneas, you too Elli."

     Night watched in the background, wondering how Elli could give up her life just for such a small pokemon. But, he still has a lot to learn...
