Arias POV
983 AN

"-ria" "Aria" I snapped out of my thoughts as I looked away from myself in the mirror where I was brushing my hair.

I turned my head and smiled as I looked at my little sister who had pink hair and bright blue eyes. I bent down and smiled as I patted her head and said "Good morning Seraphine your looking adorable today."

Seraphine giggled as she smiled looking at me and she turned around saying "Mom says breakfast time!" I nodded as she left and sighed standing back up.

I looked back in the mirror at the girl who stood back at me. I brought my hand up to my face and a flash of what I looked like in the Undercity flashed in my eyes.

I winced as I looked away and slowly started to hear the sounds of the cooking pots and people talking again. I rubbed my hand against my forehead at the pain of all the voices and sounds I heard.

I sighed as I looked back in the mirror and at my school outfit. I was currently attending the Piltover Academy which basically lead to attending the University of Piltover for many.

I sighed as I fixed my outfit a bit and smiled walking out of the bathroom as I just left my hair down. I walked down the stairs trying to ignore many of the sounds flooding my ears.

Over the past few years I've learned to ignore a lot of the voices and more so just tune in on the important things. I looked around the kitchen of our small house.

I smiled seeing my mom and dad coddling Seraphine. Since Seraphine was born my parents tended to make sure that she only experienced the best. "Good morning Aria" I heard as I than turned my attention to my father who spoke. I smiled and just sat down as

I muttered "Thanks" as my mother served me breakfast. I started to eat as my father said "Aria so what are your plans for the day." I looked up as I took a bite of food then gulped down some juice.

I smiled as I looked at my father Brio and said "I'm just going to school. I think after me and Jayce might go and hang out at a local bakery." I looked away as my father nodded at that continuing to eat my food.

"You know that Jayce boy reminds me a lot of Vik-" my mother Allegra started. I stopped her as I stood up and grabbed my bag and said "I'm leaving right now."

"Aria" Brio said in a warning tone as he watched me. I just went to Seraphine kissed her head and said gently "Have a good day Stardust, and if you have any songs when I come back you better show me."

With that, I just passed them waving bye hearing my sister yell bye. I sighed once I shut the door, I stared at the ground for a moment.

'Why did they have to bring Viktor up... I was trying to so hard to just..' I shook my head cutting my thought off.

I sighed as I started waking to the Academy, as I started nearing the campus I started seeing more students in uniform. I looked towards the ground hearing trying to tune out the thoughts surrounding me.

'I'm so excited about that new pro-'

'-times I just think my pa-'

'Undercity tra-'

'-date with some pretty girl la-'

'-seems to be lost in her thou-'

"-ria"

"Aria" a male voice said as I felt a hand placed on my shoulder. I jumped as I stepped forward and turned behind me to see Jayce.

I rolled my eyes as I turned around and muttered "please don't touch me." To which I heard a laugh which made my brows furrow in frustration.

"Aria you know you should try to smile more," Jayce said as he went to walking next to me as he turned his head to look at me. "Your always so grumpy Aria" Jayce said as he sighed then stared ahead.

I looked at him than ahead as I said "It tends to happen when your in a place you don't belong." I fiddled with a loose strand of my hair nervously but than stopped as I heard a low hum.

I looked at Jayce who had also stopped and he sighed saying "You are one of us Aria, I mean hardly anyone knows your from the Undercity."

I stared at him as if he was a idiot and I scoffed as I walked ahead saying "There is nothing wrong with where I was born. It's the way your people treat us like we are scum at the bottom of your shoe."

I sighed as I stopped once we were in front of the school. I looked at Jayce who just looked awkward. I smiled as I sighed and said "Listen I'm sorry, it's just annoying, I honestly miss my home a lot."

Jayce stared at me but nodded as he cleared his throat and said "just so you know, I mean I know how you feel about fitting in." He sighed as he looked at the academy and said "I mean House Talis isn't as known as it once was."

I stared at him as if he was joking, but once I realized he wasn't I just nodded to agree. I sighed as I looked ahead and said "Sorry to hear that, anyways we should head to class."

Viktors POV

I looked around the cave where my toy boat had traveled to. I shakily moved around hearing the sounds of the cave.

As I came more into the came purple flowers started to fill the area more. I saw ahead my toy boat, but there sat a man who picked it up. I leaned foreword a bit, but stumbled back when a creature slithered in front and made a loud noise.

The man looked up from the boat in his hands as he than looked at me making me flinch. He cleared his throat as he fiddled with the boat and said "you made this?"

I looked at him as I nodded and reluctantly stared at him. I jumped as he said "you can come forward, Rio won't hurt you."

I looked at the creature which now sat on a rock, then the man who sat there fiddling with the boat. I stepped forward as I looked at him and muttered "hello."

The man looked at me and smiled as he said "This is quite the invention you've made." I nodded as I said "Thanks" my eyes drifting from him and the creature.

The man looked at me as he said "Why don't you play with any of the other kids." As he said that I looked up quickly, my mind flashed to a memory of the girl with blue/purple hair.

I shook my head as I motioned to my right leg and crutch that was at my arm. My leg was honestly currently searing slightly after having ran after my toy boat.

The man looked at me as he fiddled with the boat as he sighed. "You have received the gift of a great mind, however, cursed with a body that can't keep up, just like many."

I looked at him and than the creature as I pointed at it and said "What is that?" He looked at the pink creature who turned as he reached out to pet its head. "This is Rio, she is dying. I am trying to save her however after all the mutation must survive."

I looked at him as he pet the creatures head and I frowned as he than turned to me and held out a purple flower to me. I looked at it as he said "want to feed it?"

I looked at him than the flower and nodded as I grabbed the flower and held it out to Rio. Rio looked at the flower and stuck out its tongue licking its lips as it then ate up the flower making me laugh.

I looked at the man as he set the boat down and started walking off. "You should head back," he said as he waved slightly. I looked at him than at Rio as I said "Can I try to help?"

The man stopped in his tracks as he turned to look at me cocking a brow. "You wish to help me?" He asked looking at me in a skeptical manner which made me shift.

I nodded as I looked at Rio and smiled as I pet them creature and said "Yeah, I would like to help." I looked at the man and smiled holding out my left hand saying "My name is Viktor, what is your name?"

The man looked at me and smiled as he said "Singed, but many around here call me the doctor." I looked at him and nodded as he started walking off. I went to move towards him but he held up a hand.

"That's enough for today, you can come back another day. I have guests coming soon." I looked at him as he said that and nodded quickly. I turned to leave shuffling a bit still due to my limp.

As I was leaving I passed a hooded figure seeing a glow of blue. I stopped turning around to look at the figure who had also stopped. The figure held up a hand and put up two fingers.

He muttered under his breath before bringing the fingers to his head as if in a gun position. He hummed and than continued off and I just stood there eyes darting everywhere in confusion.

I slowly turned again to head out but as I was leaving I heard a echo of singed talking. "Goo- see yo- -rio" I heard as some words cut off. But I turned eyes wide and wondering... perhaps?"

Shaking my head I turned around and muttered "It's insane, that man wouldn't step down in the Undercity again even if Arias life relied on it."

As the hooded man walked into the cave lined with purple flowers. He mad his way to the man seated at a working area lined with green substances and purple. Singed turned hearing the man enter and he smirked saying "Good to see you again Brio, has Topside been doing you well."

The man took off his hood exposing his blue hair and blue eyes that had a slight glow to them. Brio threw a bag on the desk coins falling out as he said "Help me... Doctor." Singed picked up a coin twirling it in his fingers as he then placed it down.

"What do you need... my apprentice" Singed said with a raise of his brow as he looked at the man before him. Brio ran a hand through his hair as he said "My daughter she can hear things and I want to help her in some sort of way please."

Singed turned as he looked at Brio a tilt of his head as he said "The one from before? Purple/Blue hair, green eyes the one who has impeccable hearing?" Brio looked at Singed as he shook his head slowly and said "No... that's Aria, she grew up in the Undercity... she will be fine and learn to adapt as I had."

"Learn to adapt? Interesting choice than what is the problem if she is going to adapt." Singed said shrugging as he picked up a vial of purple liquid. "It's not for her, and you won't be using that. I just want... possible solutions" Brio shouted quickly eyes glancing from the vial to Singed.

"Are you willing to test it? It could perhaps be the solution." Singed said as he teased the vial infront of Brio. Brio shook his head quickly as he said "Not for her... she's too innocent, and we want her to have a good life."

"What about a similar test subject then?" Singed said as he looked at Brio a small smile making its way to his face. Brio froze as he looked at Singed and shook his head "You don't mean-"

"You said you have a older daughter who as you said was born here in Zaun, or Undercity" Singed said waving as if either or didn't matter.  However he held up a tube of the purple shimmer and said "Test this on her, if it works than you have your solution for your perfect Piltover baby."

Brio stared at the shimmer as if it was tempting, however, he shook his head. He looked at Singed his blue eyes brightening as he said "An what about my oldest what happens to her?" Singed looked at Brio as he hummed and said "she becomes a real Zaunite."

Singed placed the tube back on his desk as he hummed saying "I have other business to attend to Brio. You know where to find me if you ever change your mind."

At that Singed stood up from his desk leaving the tube of purple shimmer there as he went to a back room of his lab. Brio stood there breathing heavily eyes darting from the exit, to Singed, and to the tube.

Once the door clicked shut Brio stared at the purple tube that layer on the desk. He watched as the bubbles slightly popped, glancing around one last time Brio reached out and snatched the tube of shimmer. Brio then put up his hood as he turned away from the doctor and from the ripple, he had created.

Hey guys I want to thank you all so much for the support this far. Don't feel free to share your opinions and I hope you're enjoying the story so far. There may be times that I go back to chapters and do minor revisions. However don't fret cause no main points will change just grammar and that.
