SHAWN HATED MY pizza. It was a bacon and sausage pizza with sundried tomatoes and crushed chilli. He'd watch in disgust as I ate my pizza, muttering about how getting extra tomatoes should be a crime.

Quite frankly, I hated my pizza now too. It was the only food I had been eating for two weeks.

Everyday as I went to the small pizzeria, Antonio, the owner, would always ask me if he was doing any better. But when my answer became no every time, he stopped.

I picked up my pizza and dumped it in the garbage bin and went in search of coffee.

The hospital cafeteria was alright. But I had grown tired of their strawberry jello and barely caffeinated coffee.

I was tired of everything.

I tired of everyone asking me if he was okay. If he was okay he'd be able to tell you himself!

I was tired of his fangirls tweeting me for pictures and their incessant screaming and blame. I'm not going to give you photos of my unconscious boyfriend, sorry.

I was tired of waking up in a hospital chair with several cramps and a nurse telling me I should go back home. If I wanted to go home, I'd be at home... It's a free country.

And I was tired of myself. I was constantly complaining and incapable to do anything at all.

I guess it's true... You never know what you had till it's gone.

When I'd finally realized he had forgotten me I wanted the floor to just swallow me up. I ran out before the Mendeses had even come in.

As they rejoiced over him waking up I could barely breathe. I smiled and pretended everything was okay because they deserved that.

Aaliyah had rushed up to me and given me huge hug. "Go give your boy a big smooch, Rory. I'll allow the PDA just this once." She said laughing.

I tried to laugh and I simply shook my head. "Wouldn't want to tire him out," I said with a smile that I knew didn't reach my eyes.

She smiled. "Rory, you are so sweet. I'm glad you two have each other."

I had bit back tears as I said "Me too."
