I woke up the next morning and grinned. I have to hand it to my dejaino he certainly knows how to put me to sleep. I didn't dream of anything, probably because I was more comatose than actually asleep but I do feel refreshed. Darius walked into our room already dressed in his black training attire. I stretched as he crawled up the bed straddling me.

"Time to get up, evela me, I let you sleep a little longer since you were so restless last night." He smiled kissing me softly.

"Thank you." I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck. 

"You're welcome, now get up, get your training suit on and come down for breakfast." He smiled kissing me again, quickly getting up and taking the blankets with him. I just laid there naked still staring at him.

Don't you want to shower with me? This may be the last time we get to do this. I asked unzipping his suit with a bit of air, slowly removing it from his body while caressing his skin with fiery kisses. My eyes trailed up his body to see that his eyes are dark with need. He leaned over me kissing me deep picking me up; I smiled against his lips, wrapping my legs around his waist. 

You're terrible, litani. He smiled leaning me against the back of the shower.

Yes, but you love it, litano. I gasped as he pushed himself inside of me.

Yes I do. He growled clenching my hips tight against him and I dug my nails into his back.

I smiled zipping up my suit and tossing my hair into a ponytail after that rather rigorous shower. At least I feel like I've had my fill of him for the moment. Darius smiled setting a plate of food in front of me shaking his head.

"I'm not sure I'll ever have my fill of you," he chuckled sitting next to me, "but I suppose we have work to do." He grinnec kissing my head.

We quickly ate our breakfast and walked over to the main house before we were reprimanded for our tardiness. We left a note for Vienne and Shane asking them to meet us at the main house when they're ready. 

I'm blaming you if we get told off for being late. Darius chuckled wrapping his arm around my waist as we walked towards the main house.

There was so much activity going on, it was like a mini beehive. There were at least thirty more people buzzing around the house and that wasn't including, the people inside the house or Darius' immediate family. As we approached, everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at us.

"Good morning, everyone," Darius smiled,"this is my dejaina, Jazmine Felani, the one you're all here to protect." He chuckled and I blushed it's still weird to be introduced as his soul mate. It doesn't help that they're all gawking at us. 

"Um hi..." I smiled giving them a small wave. The young man closest to me who looks  identical to Damon eagerly took my hand in his.

"It is an honor to meet you and to protect you Jazmine." He said kissing my hand.

"Jazmine, I'm sure you can tell but this is one of Damon's sons, Avery." Darius introduced as everyone began introducing themselves to me. I forgot everyone's name the minute they told me but you could definitely tell this mixed bunch of black haired and grey eyed young men and women were Rekeseaus. 

"It's very nice to meet you all, I'm sorry I won't be able to remember all of your names but give me time." I said as they laughed.

"No worries, Jazmine, half of us can't remember everyone's name either." Marlena, Meilyn and Byron's daughter smiled next to me as everyone laughed.

"It's true, litani. You'll learn them as you go." He chuckled as we walked through the house dodging everyone as they moved Samaria and Amerie's lab to the basement. 

"You two better hurry up, everyone's waiting for you in the fields" Amerie called as we walked passed them.

"I told you we were going to be late, but no Jazmine wanted to take a shower together." He said as I laughed.

"I'm sure you'll thank me later when we have no time for fun in the shower." I said as he laughed kissing my head.

"I'm sure you're right, litani."

"Well it is about time! We've been waiting half the morning for you two." Adonis sighed and I realised Meilyn and I are not the only ones at this training session. There are five others joining us today.

"It's my fault Adonis, I distracted my dejaino." I laughed as he and Damon rolled their eyes as Byron, Meilyn and the new kues laughed next to us.

"Anyway, we have a couple new kue's with us today. Dante and Remus, I'm sure you can tell are the grandchildren of Byron and Meilyn. And these three are my grandchildren, Maurice, Kalvin and- shit what's your name again?" Adonis asked the young black haired blue eyed kue standing next to the other two black and brown haired kues. 

"I'm Antoni, granddad. My fucking name is Antoni!" He grumbled as Adonis laughed. 

"I'm only kidding, dude. You're my youngest grandson wouldn't be right if I didn't pick on you." He chuckled ruffling his hair. 

"You're so awful to him, Adonis!" Meilyn laughed as the caramel colored man smirked next to her. 

"You forget our names all the time, Gram!" Remus laughed as another curly caramel haired boy with the same green eyes as Meilyn laughed next to him. 

"It's true you never remember Remus and I." Dante accused as she laughed. 

"Oh hush, you two. We have a lot of kids to fucking remember, alright." Meilyn laughed and I shook my head.

How can they all be so happy and joking around like this? I asked as Darius chuckled squeezing my hand. 

It's better to be lighthearted right now, sesti. We all know we're in danger, there's no sense in dwelling on it. He smiled. 

"And I'm sure you all know this is Jazmine, daughter of Gaia and Sol and your lucky uncle's dejaina." Damon smiled as the five boys stared at me with awe. 

"It's such an honor to train with you. We heard you're just as powerful as Uncle Darius." Kalvin breathed his grey eyes danced with excitement. 

"It's nice to meet all of you, but I think you'll find that I'm stronger than your Uncle." I smiled as Darius burst out laughing next to me causing the boys' eyes to grow wide.  

"Ja'diem, you laugh now?" Remus gawked. 

"I do, but it doesn't mean I'm not as deadly." He grinned at them. 

"But apparently not as deadly as your dejaina. I can't wait to see this." Maurice laughed as Adonis clapped his hands together. 

"Well, then let's get this show on the road." Adonis said as Byron and Darius stood in front of the seven kues in training. 

"Meilyn, Jazmine since you've awakened all the elements, we're only going to work on combat training. You need to master your ability to fight now." Damon explained. Meilyn gulped nervously next to me. While I nodded eager to use all of the elements against Darius.  

Too bad you won't be fighting me today. He chuckled.

What do you mean? I whined. 

"Right we're going to pair you off, Remus and Kalvin, Maurice and Meilyn, Dante, Antoni, and Jazmine." Byron said and I huffed crossing my arms. I'd rather spar with Darius, I want to test my damn powers against the Asarak. 

"Aww I wanted to be paired with Jazmine." Maurice whined as Meilyn put her hands on her hips. 

"What? I'm not good enough for you little man?" She scoffed as he blushed snaking his head. 

"No, no Auntie. It's just I want to spar against the Asarak's dejaina." He pouted 

"You can trade with me, I don't think I'm ready for this. I've heard the stories." Antoni said shaking his head and my eyes grew wide and I laughed. 

"I'm not that scary. I won't hurt you, Antoni." I smiled. 

"Listen, Jazmine, I know you won't hurt me on purpose but I'd rather spar with someone who's a bit more on my level." He blushed looking at Adonis. 

"Can I please trade with Maurice?" He asked as Adonis laughed. 

"Fine, but you're going to have to spar with her at some point." He nodded while Darius laughed next to him. 

Look at you scaring my nephew. He grinned his eyes full of pride. 

"Alright is everyone comfortable with their pairings now?" Damon laughed as I started to open my mouth to ask to spar with Darius. 

"You're not sparing with any of us today, Jaz. Calm your eager ass down." Darius laughed as I glared at him. 

"Fine! Let's get started then." I grumbled. 

I am bored. While Maurice and Dante are really good fighters, it was just too easy to counter their attacks. Even when we switched partners and I had to take on Kalvin and Remus they were just so easy to read. At least Darius and his brothers would be a better challenge. I sighed smashing Remus and Kalvin together, wrapping them in a tight weave of fire and air. I pulled roots from the ground and pinned them to the ground. Beating them again for the fifth time and I haven't even broke a sweat. 

"Fuck! I tap out. I can't do anymore today!" Kalvin groaned untangling himself from Remus.

"Me too. No more!" Remus yelled and I looked over at Darius and his brothers who were doubled over in laughter. 

Can I spar with you now? I whined 

Tomorrow, sesti I promise. He laughed. 

"Right, this is probably a good time to stop anyway. We've been out here all day. You boys get your sisters or cousins to heal you if you need it." Darius said to the limping quartet who glared at him. 

"If we need it," Dante smirked, "my fucking body is broken! Look at her, she hasn't even broke a sweat." He grumbled as he held onto Maurice for support. 

"I know, she's amazing right?" Darius grinned wrapping his arm around my shoulder. 

"Yeah, she's insane, she's perfect for you." Kalvin groaned as they walked slowly back to the main house. 

"See this is why I chose to spar with Aunt Meilyn. I'm not stupid like you four." Antoni roared with laughter slapping Maurice on the shoulder. 

"Fuck you, Ant." He grumbled. 

"How the hell aren't you at least sore, Jazmine?" Meilyn sighed as Byron laughed wrapping his arm around her waist as we carried on inside. 

"They just weren't that challenging, they hardly touched me." I shrugged as she shook her head. 

"You're crazy, woman. I need a long hot bath and a massage tonight, dejaino." Meilyn groaned as Byron laughed kissing her head. 

"Anything for you, Mei Mei. But remember you're the one who wanted to do this."

"Oh fuck you." She grumbled. I laughed shaking my head. He definitely has a point, she did ask for this and they warned us it would be tough. Not that I've been challenged yet, I thought dryly. 

Alright, litani. You'll get that challenge you crave tomorrow. He laughed kissing my head as we walked into the dining room.

Instead of one long table in the center of the room, there were three more long tables filled with Rekeseaus. I spotted Shane and Vienne sitting next to Samaria and Amerie while Jack and Lana held Knox and Jaden. 

"Oh no." Darius laughed as we neared their table. 

"What's the matter?" I frowned as he shook his head. 

"My parents aren't going to give Knox and Jaden back. It's been a long time since there have been little ones around here and they love being grandparents." He chuckled as I laughed watching them coo over the twins who were gurgling and laughing at them. 

Aww it's cute let them have their fill. I smiled as Vienne looked up at us and smiled. 

"Jaz! How'd it go? They weren't too hard on you were they?" She asked as I shook my head sitting across from her. 

"No, it was fine." I shrugged. 

"Just fine? I thought kue training was rigorous, especially since you're training with Rekeseaus?" Shane asked raising his eyebrows as Meilyn chuckled leaning forward to look at him. 

"It is rigorous. Jazmine is just insane. I'm so fucking sore. I can't even heal this shit." She laughed and groaned holding her side. 

"Oh really Jazmine? These boys told me they were going to pair you up with two partners to give you a challenge. It wasn't enough?" Jack asked looking up from Knox, a slight grin on his face as his eyes flicked to Darius and back to me. 

"Dad, look at those boys, they are hurting right now. They couldn't even touch her." Adonis laughed his shoulders shaking trying not to burst out in full blown laughter. 

"Shit, Dante was puking before we came inside. She messed them up good." Byron laughed wiping his tears. 

"That's good for them, toughen them up a bit. Your sons have been slacking on training them anyway." Jack nodded and looked back at me. 

"It doesn't surprise me they weren't a challenge for you, Jaz. You're an interesting specimen." He mused looking at Darius. 

"Do you think she's ready for the Rekeseau test?" He asked as Darius grinned looking down at me. His eyes shining with pride. 

"Yeah she's ready." He nodded to his grinning father. 

"Great we'll set it up for tomorrow. This will be fun I haven't done one of these in a long time." He beamed and I frowned. 

"What's a Rekeseau test?" I asked as Darius and his brothers grinned. 

"It's a three part challenge, li'kaeta, you go through two rounds battling ten different kues and then you battle the five of us." Byron explained and I grinned. I get to battle all of his brothers. Wait- the five of them? 

"Who's the fifth?" I asked as Jack laughed. 

"That would be me, elaeti." He grinned and my eyes grew wide. I never imagined I'd fight against Darius' father. He must have some good moves. 

He's pretty good, but I've beaten him plenty of times. 

"Well this should be interesting. Challenge accepted." I smiled. 

So the real question is, can I beat *your* ass? I grinned as he chuckled kissing my head. 

We shall see. He grinned while Vienne and Shane gawked at me. 

"Jazmine! You can't be serious. You're going to get hurt!" Vienne said shaking her head as Remus smirked looking at her. 

"No she won't, I pity the kues going against her. I want no part in that challenge." He huffed shaking his head as I laughed. I kind of feel bad I might have pushed them too hard today. 

"Oh Remus, I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you today." I blushed and he smiled at me. 

"Don't apologise, Auntie Jaz, you're just really good and none of us were expecting that." He laughed as Adonis scoffed. 

"You should've, a dejaina to that deadly fucker was never going to be anything but deadly her damn self." He said as the table burst out in laughter the other two tables looking puzzled at the outburst. 

Jack laughed standing from his chair, still holding Knox's sleeping form against his chest. 

"Alright, everyone. Jazmine has accepted to attempt the Rekeseau test tomorrow. I need a team of twenty kues to challenge her. Do I have any volunteers?" He asked as nearly every hand shot up in the air, save for the five young kues who refused to battle me again. 

My eyes grew wide and I blushed at everyone's enthusiasm to take me on.

Of course they're excited to challenge the first female kue and the Asarak's dejaina. This is the most excitement any of us have had in a long time. Darius grinned. 

"They're all idiots." I heard Kalvin whisper and I laughed. He might be right. 

Don't get too cocky, evela me. There are some really good Kues in this room. Darius chuckled kissing my head as Jack picked out the twenty challengers. 

I'm sure there are, but they aren't you. I smiled playfully and he grinned. 

"Oo does this mean we get a rest day?" Meilyn asked as Byron laughed. 

"Yes, litani. You can sit out tomorrow." 

"I can't believe you're going to do this." Vienne sighed shaking her head. 

"Don't worry Vienne, I'll be fine. I'm actually really good, why don't you and Shane come see for yourselves tomorrow." I smiled 

"That's a great idea, it'll help put your mind at ease. Even I'm going to watch this." Lana laughed. 

"Alright, but I'll probably cover my eyes the whole time." Vienne sighed as Shane kissed her head. 

"It'll be fun. They won't hurt her, Darius would kill them before that happened." Shane said as I laughed hearing Darius' low growl next to me. 

"Too fucking right, Shane." Darius said his voice a deadly growl. 

I squeezed his thigh, shaking my head at him. 

"There will be no need for that. I can handle myself just fine without the aide of my domineering dejaino." I said rolling my eyes at him and his eyes softened as he blushed. 

"Yes you can, forgive me, litani." He chuckled as the women around the table burst out laughing at the submissive kue. 

"Oh I never thought I'd see the day Uncle Darius bows to his dejaina." Marlena, Meilyn and Byron's daughter laughed her grey eyes tearing up as her shoulders shook in amusement. 

"Oh fuck off." Darius laughed a blush staining his dimpled cheeks. It only made the table roar in laughter again.
