Exactly who in the world are you, to assume that someone is faking something that they are going through? I know sometimes people do fake, and there are people who do pretend, and sometimes that fact may not be so deadly obvious. But if someone seems like they need people, then just be a fucking decent human being and be nice to them, help them, rather than shitting on someone because you don't believe how they feel.

You don't know what goes on in a person's head. You don't know what it's like to be them, do you? It's not always clear how someone is feeling on the inside. And most of all, if you've never even known what it's like to experience what she did, then I don't know if you have a right to bitch and complain, and act like you know what you're talking about when you don't.
