"I'm Not Cute"
Michael doesn't like it when you call him cute... (Image-Michael's adorable little pout)
It was Friday, (finally), and that meant freedom for the next couple of days. So naturally you and Michael decided to have a movie night sleepover.
You scrolled through Netflix, picking out a movie, while Michael stood in the kitchen making the popcorn.
"Michael hurry up with the popcorn! It doesn't take that long to make. I'm going to chose a movie without you!" You shouted from the living room.
"Okay, okay! I'm just trying to make it perfect!" Michael giggled from the kitchen.
"Make it perfect?" You snorted. "I've never heard anyone say that about popcorn before. You're so weird."
"Oh be quiet, you know I'm a perfectionist (Y/N)." He said, poking his head out from the kitchen and bringing the bags of popcorn over to you. "What are we watching?"
You smirked, looking over at him, "The Shining. Found it in the Thriller section. It's pretty famous actually."
He gave you a worried look. "Nooooo, I thought we agreed, no horrors, thrillers, or like..scary stuff."
"Awww, are you scared? It's only a movie! That's so cute."
"(Y/N)!" Michael whined, huffing and crossing his arms over his chest. "How many times do I have to tell you! I'm not cute."
"Shut up, yes you are." You smirked behind your bag of popcorn. Michael and you had been best friends since sixth grade, and now, as Juniors in high school, you knew every little way to piss him off.
And you loved it.
"No I most certainly am not! " Michael argued in a sassy tone from his position next to you on the couch, trying to keep a straight face.
"Whatever, lets just watch the movie already, you dork." You sighed.
"Fine. But I am not cute. I'm bad." Michael grumbled under his breath, pouting.
You still heard him.
---Time Skip---
Another loud noise and a flash came from the screen, and Michael yelped in surprise.
"Cute." You commented.
"Am not." He threw back.
Another crash. And another noise from next to you.
"Cute!"
"Am not!"
This had become a pattern. Michael getting scared followed by a "Cute", followed by an "Am not."
As the music became louder, he hid his eyes behind his pillow.
"Cute." You laughed.
"Shut up!" Giggling, he threw a few pieces of popcorn right at you.
"You little-" You looked down to where a few pieces had annoyingly fallen into your shirt and back at Michael, tackling him to the couch. "You got it in my shirt! You're gonna pay for that!"
Suddenly Michael stopped giggling, a smirk making it's way onto his face. "Oh really?"
You felt his hands on your wrists, and before you knew it, he had you flipped over and pinned down, his body pressing yours farther into the cushion.
Catching your breath, you felt his hair tickle your face, and his hot breath fan over your neck.
"Oh I'm sorry, did I scare you?" He purred into your ear, your breath hitching as his large hand slid up your shirt.
"Let me get that popcorn for you."
From under your shirt he snatched the popcorn, and brought his hand and face away, eating it and grinning.
Looking down at your bright red face and wide eyes, he chuckled in a dark voice, "Cute."
Before you could say anything he had released your arms and was back on his side of the couch, watching the movie like nothing had happened.
"I'm not as cute as you think. Remember that (Y/N)."
