Stand tall oh mighty oak,
for all the world to see,
strength and undying beauty
forever amazes me.
above you hover storm clouds
branches span the sky
radiant sunlight you do search
Survival you count
winds high and restless
a limb or two you do lose
stronger it does make you
much from you I do learn
generations have come and gone
A change thy brought
watched them yet quiet
same thou remain
With hope days you face
skies black or blue
a gift on earth is life
treasured is every moment
