Valentine's Day special:)
Ok so it's Valentine's Day right yea so happy Valentine's Day anyways I decided that I need to stop being lazy and make another chapter (I have more chapters that I haven't published yet but it's Valentine's Day so why not go ahead and make another one :)) May be late but that's ok I'm not sure when it's actually gonna get published😂 (it's kind of funny because it's now March 25th when I am coming back to this)

Y/N Pov

I wake up and see an empty space beside me. I see a note. "Good morning baby ;)" I smile at the thought of my boyfriend Benny of 8 years. I realize that's a little long but we were in high school when we started dating and we have been in college after that so we haven't really had time to get engaged/married. I then continue to read. "Today all you have to do is follow the places where the notes lead, and then at the end you may or may not get a surprise, I love you Happy Valentine's Day"

Then I see another note beside it. "I know when we first met you didn't know if I was a hit or miss, but then at this place you figured it out and gave me a kiss" I smiled remembering our first kiss. (Just know I'm not a girly girl and I'm not about to have this person wearing a dress and heels😂 sorry if that's what you wanted but🤷‍♀️)

I went to go change and saw a box. I opened it and it was a pair of high waisted jean shorts that went about 1 or 2 inches above mid thigh (or whatever length you want) and a long sleeve black simply southern shirt and a pair of high top black vans.

I put that on and (if you wear makeup pretend it says did my makeup here) brushed my teeth and put my hair in a high ponytail and pulling a few of my baby hairs to the front. Then I realized I forgot something else in the box. I pulled it out and it had a note on it.

"Just Incase it gets cold" it was my favorite hoodie of Benny's. I put it on and it smelled good, just like him. I smiled feeling warm and hugged it closer to my body. Then I remembered that I was supposed to go to the next place.

I grab my keys and lock the door behind me and go to my car. I get in and drive to our favorite restaurant. I pull-up and get out and go inside. There I see my 2 friends and go up to them and hug them. They then take me to a booth in the back.

We sit down and eat...a lot. Then (b/f/n) hands me a present. I look inside of the bag and see chocolate, a dozen white roses, and a note. I grab the note and it says "I hope you enjoyed your meal :) now you need go to where we sealed the deal"

Benny had given my best friend the money to pay for my food so I got up gave them a hug and went to my car. I then drove off and went to the sandlot. I got out of my car and saw all of the boys except for Benny there.

I went in the gate and they all looked at me. It's been about 2 years since I have seen them because I've been busy with college and everything but now it's summer break so I have a lot of time.

They all drop their things and run at me. Me and the boys have been friends since elementary school. We used to come here every day and play baseball. They made me feel like I belonged and that I was a part of the group and they were honestly my best friends because we only hung out with each other, no one else.

They all got to me and tackled me to the ground with a hug. I laughed and we all got up and I gave them all a hug. Then smalls said "so (Y/N), you up for a game?" And he held up a bat and turned it around and I saw it had a note on it. Smalls and all the boys smiled and I nodded taking the bat and got to home plate.

I put the note in my pocket and waited for Kenny to pitch the ball. He pitched it and I missed it. "Strike one, man (Y/n) it's been a while I can tell" I rolled my eyes and laughed and said "Shut it Ham" and prepared for the next pitch.

Kenny pitched it again and I missed. "Strike two, I'm telling you (Y/n), don't go soft on us" I smirked and waited one more time for Kenny. He pitched the ball and *smack* "WOOOOO" I yelled dropping the bat and running the bases. All the boys stare as the ball goes past Mr Mertles old house.

"(Y/n) that went farther tha-" Bertram started to say but then got cut off as he realized I was already at home plate. "I still got it" I said looking at Ham and high fiving him. "Yeah Yeah wait until Benny hears" Yeah Yeah says. I smiled and we played for a little longer.

When we were done I hugged them all and went back to my car. I got the note out of my pocket and read it. "You're almost there, so don't you worry, because it definitely not the end of this story." I turned the note around and it had more writing on it. "Go to this place where I asked you to be more than a friend, and where I said we will have a happy end."

I opened my door and got in my car, putting the key in and starting the car. I thought for a second and started to drive. "Wow, it sure has been a while" I say to myself as I pull into the driveway of his moms home. Neither of us has really spoken to anybody in at least 3 years because we moved out for college and have an apartment together. I mean, yeah it's kind of a weird place to ask to be a couple, but I honestly never cared because I love him, well, really really liked him at the time, but it grew to love anyways.

I knocked on the door and his mom answered. "Oh my gosh, (Y/n) how are you?! Benny told me you would be stopping by!" We had a long conversation about how we've been doing and just catching up on everything. We were saying our goodbyes and she stopped me in front of the door. "Oh wait (Y/n)! I almost forgot! Here" she placed in my hand a little box.

We hugged and I went to my car and opened the box before pulling out of the driveway. I opened the box and there was a gorgeous necklace in it. It was gold and had a heart on it. I realized there was a latch and opened it. On the inside there were 2 small pictures. One of me and one of him. They were placed as if we were looking at each other making stupid faces.

I smiled and put the locket around my neck and pulled the little tab up in the box and found another note. "The last stop of night, and I finally get to see you, the most beautiful sight" "Drive the fair where we had our first date, might wanna hurry cause it's getting kind of late!" "Ps, I'm running out of rhymes" I laughed and drove to the fair and parked my car. I remember that date like it was yesterday.

I've always been scared of going on the Ferris wheel and he somehow convinced me to do it. And it was worse than I thought, it wasn't one of those things where you ride it and then it's not that bad. But when we reached the top and it stoped I grabbed Benny's hand tight and he gently pulled my face towards his and kissed me.

We had already had our first kiss though because we promised each other that if we never kissed anybody by 17 that we would be each other's first kiss. And we were. I made my way over towards the Ferris wheel, figuring that's where he probably is and I was right.

I smile as I see him and run up to him. We hug and he kisses me passionately. "So, you like the necklace?" I kiss him passionately. "Does that answer your question?" He smirks and says "hmmm, that's not a quite clear answer, you might have to tell me again" I kiss him again, but shorter because I'm anxious to have fun and go ride rides.

"So, what are we waiting for? Let's go ride!" I say, He chuckles and we go off to ride a bunch of rides and play games. We have been here for a while now and decide to go home.

I'm walking just a bit ahead of Benny, and as we are passing the Ferris wheel to go to the parking lot, I hear him say "Babe". I turn around and gasp in shock and cover my mouth with my hands. I see him down on one knee and holding out a beautiful diamond ring.

I don't realize the crowd around us and my eyes fill up with tears. "(Y/n), these past 8 years have been the best of my life. You have gave me so much more  love and happiness than I have ever been able to experience. You have been there for me when I'm at my lowest, and when I'm about to explode from excitement! Thick and thin you have been there for me no matter what and I love you with everything in my body. I couldn't even possibly imagine what I would do without you in my future, you mean the world to me. So, (Y/n) (y/m/n) (y/l/n), will you do me the greatest pleasure and be my wife?"

I yell "Yes! You idiot I can't believe you would even have to ask" he laughs and gets off his knee and stands up and kisses me. I hear clapping around us and some one yell "I better get an invite to the wedding!" I look and see Ham said it, and I see all of the boys and our families with phones and cameras. I hide my face in Benny's chest and smile.

We head home, I could barely sleep though from all of the excitement from today. I finally drifted off to sleep though cuddled up to Benny with my head on his chest and his arm around me.

Call it what you like, I'm not the best at putting my thoughts into writing but it sounds good in my head so I hope it sounds good to you guys too, also can we please appreciate my semi decent rhyming skills😂

Also, someone tell me to do my homework and stop procrastinating.

Ah haha, one more thing. Tell me to stop putting off writing because I have fun doing it.

I lied, one last thing, y'all should give me some ideas, they will be written down with the rest of my ideas. I have a tonnnnn of ideas but either haven't finished the story or haven't started writing it yet. So I mean, it may or may not get written but at least I know someone likes reading my stuff and I'll be encouraged to write more🤷‍♀️
