Alex's POV :

The moment I see the café , I know just why Harry loves it .

It's simple , peaceful , away from the din of the city .

It stands there on the other side of the street from where the car is parked . Coulourful lights hang on the door of the café . It looks so distinct , yet so enticing at the same time . A neon sign hangs above the door , saying " GEORGE'S CAFÉ"

I glance over to Harry , who is already looking at me . I give him a small smile and we cross the street . As we open the café's door, the aroma of coffee lattes mixed with the amazing smell of food , hits my face . Wow.

As we step inside , I see that there are but a lot of people here . People from all walks of life . An elderly couple sits towards the corner . A group of youngsters , about our age , sit on a large table , chatting away and laughing in the world of their own . A couple with their kids sit near the door and lastly my eye catches a family , a huge family having dinner , reminiscing incidences as they laugh and catch up with each other . My heart aches a bit .

Harry clears his throat and before I can snap my head in his direction, he takes my hand and walks towards a staircase at the corner of the room . We quickly ascend the flight and get to the rooftop .

As I swing the door open , I hear soft music playing in a distance . As I step in , I look around and see an even more beautiful area . It's a huge open balcony , with short legged tables , each with mattresses on both sides , scattered throughout . Only a couple can be seen , occupying one of the tables .

I follow Harry and walk towards a table , near the end of the roof . I gasp as I lean and see the beautiful view in front of me . A treat for my eyes .

I see city lights , beautifully sprawled across the huge area of New York City. And when I look up, I see the night sky , with the stars scattered throughout , like specs of salt on a black table cloth . They shine so bright , I wanna save their light . ( a/n: ;).... )

My eyes catch a glimpse of Harry as he seats himself on one side of the table . I scurry and seat myself on the other side . After I'm seated on the mattress , Indian style , my eyes find Harry's green ones .

" This place is amazing ! " , I exclaim , failing to hide the awe laced in my voice .

He smiles , as he speaks , " I knew you'd like it ... I come here often . I love it ."

Suddenly he jumps up from his seated position and smiles towards someone , his beautiful smile reaching his beautiful eyes . My eyes follow his gaze and land upon an elderly fellow , maybe in his 50s, walking towards us . He has a wide smile etched to his face .

"Harry , my lad !! " , the genial fellow exclaims with joy as he walks towards him and pulls him in a tight hug .

" How's your new job that you started? I've missed having you here ! " , he speaks again , his eyes depicting that every single word he uttered about missing Harry is nothing but true .

Harry chuckles a bit and replies, "The job's going gre-", but he is cut off by the man who stands in front of him .

" And who is this pretty lady ?" , his lips turn up in a genuine , bright smile as he looks towards me .

"Uh George , this is Alex . Alex , this is George !" , Harry speaks to George , the smile never leaving his lips.

"Hello Sir . ", I stand up and shake his hand , flashing him a warm smile . "I believe this wonderful place belongs to you ...?"

He lets out a friendly laugh , " Well yes dear lady , as the name suggests ! I'm happy you find it wonderful !"

"It is , indeed !" I say

" Well you must be really special ! This Hazz boy here .. , he never brings girls to this place . It's only me and him and the stars usually , but today he's brought his own star to gaze ... Isn't it Harry ?" , he teases Harry as he nudges his arm .

Harry blushes and his cheeks turn crimson red under the light of the lamps illuminating the roof and the colour of my cheeks doesn't beg to differ .

" Uh ... we're just friends George !" , he says embarrassingly with a smile.

"Haha! Okay .... I'll leave you two on your own . What'll you have ? I'll just send the boy to take your orders !! " , he says merrily .

His eyes shift to me ," And Alex dear, do tell me how you like the food before you leave . I have a feeling I'll see you often here with this Hazz boy ! I should make sure you like the food !!!! " , he exclaims excitedly .

Once again I blush crimson as I smile and say, " I'm sure I'll love it !"

George flashes me and Harry a smile before turning on his heals and scurrying down the isle to the other side .

I quickly sit down and catch Harry staring at me , smiling deeply . He quickly seats himself down too , before he speaks, " He really liked you ... "

" Yeah ! He was really sweet !! " , I reply .

" Yeah... uh what'll you eat ? Wanna check the menu ? "

" What'll you have ?", I say.

"I love their burgers. So I'll have that . It's quite delicious !"

" I'll have that too ! " , I smile.

We order our food and talk about the whether meanwhile . Harry tells me about George , and his voice clearly expresses his fondness for the man . He tells about their incidences together . I cannot help but laugh, they're so funny !

Our burgers and milkshakes arrive . With the light wind blowing and the soft music playing , I cannot help but enjoy myself .

We eat and Harry constantly cracks jokes . Jokes that are so not funny that you can't help but laugh . He does make me choke on my delicious burger when he cracks one of his knock knock jokes . I feel like I haven't laughed in years as much as this 22 year old boy has made me laugh right now . If anything, I laugh just to hear the sound I have already fallen in love with , his laugh !

As we finish our food, Harry checks the time in his watch . I do too . It's already 12 and the place is deserted . Harry helps me up and laughs out loud when I almost stumble . I cannot help but laugh too... his laugh is very very contagious !

As we make our way down , we see George talking to a man . He quickly turns towards us as we reach the last step . " Well hello ,loves ! Leaving so soon today Harry ? Did you like your food Alex ?" , he asks excitedly .

" Yes ! It was delicious ! Thank you ! " , I say warmly , offering him a smile .

" You're most welcome dear ! I hope you two come soon , next time I won't let you leave before you see atleast 20 meteors !! " , he laughs , " Bye darlings ! Drive carefully ! " , he says gaily .

Harry opens his mouth to speak but I interrupt , " Wait... Harry , don't we need to pay ?", I ask confusedly . George smiles , " Oh no no honey .... Family doesn't pay ! ", he pulls Harry and then me into a hug .

" Bye George ! I promise next time we'll come just for star gazing !!", Harry laughs as he replies .

We bid him goodbye and just as we step out of the door , I cannot help but think how much I loved every part of this eventful night !
