Chapter 22

3rd POV
The next morning, Ezra and Mace Windu left to Naboo before dawn. The cold morning air hit Ezra's face, making him shiver a bit. He has forgotten how cold it gets on Coruscant. Waiting outside the Jedi Temple was their starships. R7 waiting in Ezra's starship.

"Are you alright my apprentice?" Mace Windu asked. Ezra was still thinking about what happened yesterday.

"I'm alright Master. It's just that, yesterday was my first day back and so many things have already happened. Well, are happening," Ezra opened the hatch to the ship.

"Welcome back to the Jedi Order, Ezra. If you want to become a Jedi Knight, then we must go to Naboo and train," Mace got in his starship. Ezra paused for a couple of seconds.

He sighed quietly, "But do we have to stay there for three weeks?"

"I don't know. Maybe longer." Ezra shot his head up. "You do want to finish your Jedi Trials on time, right?" Mace Windu asked, turning his head to him. Ezra nodded. "Then I will train you there. With no distractions, it'll help you accelerate in your training. Furthermore, we are needed somewhere else in the galaxy."

"I understand, Master," Ezra nodded again.

Once they felt, they wouldn't be able to see Anakin, Obi-wan or anyone else for a while. The only people they might only see is Padmé or Jar Jar Binks.

"You don't have any unfinished business, do you?"

"No, Master," Ezra looked at his hand and then at the Temple. "Not at all."

They closed the hatch. They turned on the starships and took off to Naboo.

Mace Windu and Ezra arrived on Naboo and went to visit Padmé. Ezra looked around, he hasn't been on Naboo for a some time. It reminded him of the last time he was here with Master Windu.

Padmé was in the buildings living room when they got off the lift.

"Miss Amidala," Ezra bowed his head. Padmé sighed heavily.

"How many times have I told you to call me Padmé?" She went and gave him a tight hug.

"It's a habit of mine. I'm used to calling people by their last names."

Padmé let go and squeezed his shoulders, "It doesn't matter. It's just so good to see you again."

"Should we get started with the plans," Mace Windu rushed. He wanted to train Ezra as soon as possible.

"Yes, follow me."

Ezra took a step when Mace stopped him. He handed him a lightsaber.

"I thought I lost this," Ezra held his first lightsaber. It was a purple lightsaber. His favorite. It tells the other Jedi that he uses both sides and that they can't change that.

"You dropped it on Felucia. We kept it with the other Padawan lightsabers," Mace followed Padmé. Ezra walking close behind him.

The Temple came to life. Jedi walking down the halls, meditating in their rooms, heading to where they're needed and much more.

Anakin and Ahsoka were walking down the silent hallway. No other Jedi in sight. Ahsoka stared straight. Not looking at Anakin once. She was a little mad at him, but she couldn't get her mind of of yesterday. A night that could have been a great night for her. Ahsoka just smiled like a dork. Fantasizing about what could have happened.

"Ahsoka, are you alright? You seem to be smiling an awful lot," Anakin noticed. Ahsoka snapped out of her dreamland and back to reality.

"I'm great, Master. Just great. Yesterday was a nice night," Ahsoka grinned. She secretly wanted to punch him in the gut.

"Seems like you had a good time last night."

"Yes, yes I did. It could have been even better if you didn't ruin it!" Ahsoka angrily pointed her finger at him. Anakin backed up a little.

"Me! What did I do?" Anakin asked in astonishment.

"You had you had to contact me at the wrong moment! We were so close to kissing," Ahsoka eyes widened. She didn't mean to say the last part. She looked at the floor.

Anakin stopped walking, "Like on the cheek or..."

"No, Skyguy. A kiss on the hand. Of course a kiss on the lips!"

"Listen, Ahsoka. I'm sorry for ruining your 'moment,' but just be lucky I didn't tell the Council about this little 'relationship,'" Anakin approached her. He was never going to tell them. Not after what he did behind their backs.

Ahsoka raised her head, "I guess. Thanks for not telling them."

"Now tell me," him and Ahsoka began walking again. "How far away were you two?"

"Inches away."

Anakin smirked. Ahsoka pushed him away. She hated it when he did that.

"I'm just a bit worried," Ahsoka broke the silence. Anakin raised his eyebrow.

"Of what?"

"If you know all of this information about us almost kissing," she paused for a second. "Should I tell Ezra that you know?"

Anakin stayed silent for a minute. He gently laid his hand on her shoulder, "That's up to you, Snips."

"I should tell Ezra. I want him to know that the secret is safe with you."

"Alright, you can tell Ezra when he comes back," Anakin continued walking. Ahsoka looked at him with a confused expression.

"Come back? Where is he?"

"Ezra left to Naboo with Master Windu. He won't come back for perhaps a month."

"Oh," Ahsoka whispered. Anakin chuckled.

"Don't worry. You'll be very busy while he's gone."

Ahsoka nodded. They continued to walk down the hall until they met Obi-wan and discussed a future mission.

Ezra deflected a blaster shot. He Force-flipped onto a crate and Force-pushed three droids back. He as able to take out four other droids, but the three droids came after him. He beheaded them all. A B2 came from behind Ezra. He sensed him coming and he threw his lightsaber to it. Ezra's lightsaber impaled it's head. He used the Force to make it go back in his hand.

Mace Windu clapped, "Your training hasn't gone down one bit. Your fighting skills haven't changed either."

"Is that a good thing?" Ezra deactivated his sabers. They were outside in a large platform.

"It's a great thing. With more training and practice, you will become a Jedi Knight in no time," Mace applauded. "Who knows. With how your high Midi-chlorians are and your knowledge of both sides of the Force, you can become a Jedi Master faster than anyone else."

Ezra stopped to think for a second. His Master is getting his hopes to high. Ezra didn't like it. Sure the things he said were true but, he doesn't feel ready to handle so many responsibilities.

"You think so, Master?" Ezra questioned. Mace Windu nodded.

"Indeed I do. The future holds many things for you, Ezra. Prepare for them now and you'll be ready to face anything that comes in your way," Mace put his hand on his shoulder.

Ezra smiled. Everything he ever doubted has now faded. He knew where he belonged now. He is the Jedi Padawan of a Jedi Master. Soon to become a Jedi Knight himself. Yet, Ezra didn't let it get to his head. Who knows what the future holds.

~Sorry for not updating for like four days. I was in Wyoming, then in Idaho, then in Montana. The Wi-Fi of the hotels I stayed in sucked. Also, I found a few things.

Ezra's parents own a ski lift. Who knew?

This is what really happened to the Republic

Anywho, that was the end. I am planning on doing a sequel. What do you think? If yes, please comment a title. I know a few people are like, "Really Paulina? You ended it there? Wow..." But hey, if you want to know something just ask or something. Also, thank you @KingSkywalker for suggesting Ezra to have a purple lightsaber. Don't forget to vote and comment what you think 😘

Stay Sassy Like Obi-wan!
