Five
Jin woke up and instantly met eyes with Namjoon, his cheeks beginning to want up. "Hey." He whispered in his low morning voice, sending chills through Jin.
"You sleep well?" He asked and Jin nodded. "That's good. Do you feel better?" He asked and Jin nodded once more. "That's good." Namjoon smiled, stroking Jin's fluffy hair. "You look so cute when you sleep." He said, Jin blushing as he broke eye contact.
Namjoon chuckled. "Hey, look at me..." He said, Jin slowly looking back up. Namjoon kissed him gently, smiling as he pulled away. "I don't want you to be upset all day." Namjoon said.
"I'm not." Jin said. "Good." Namjoon said. "Well, lets get ready for school." He said and Jin nodded.
))))))))
After getting ready, Jin walked downstairs with his backpack, his mother and Jiyoung in the kitchen. Jin set him backpack down and hugged his mom. "Hi Jin, how's you sleep?" She asked.
"Great." Jin nodded, not mentioning the fact he cried or the fact he cuddled with Namjoon the entire night. "That's good." She said. "I made a smoothie so you can fix yourself some." She said and Jin nodded, grabbing a cup and pouring some in.
Namjoon came into the kitchen, making sure both parents were turned around before stealing a kiss from Jin. Jin gasped quietly after the fact, his face turning red.
Namjoon smirked as he walked into the pantry and grabbed a Pop Tart. He sat beside Jin at the counter eating and minding his business while Jin was having a mini panic attack.
"We're headed time work, see you two later." Their parents said before both leaving out the house. "Why would you do that?! The could've saw us!" Jin yelled. "Relax, Jin, they were both turned around." Namjoon laughed at Jin's red face.
After eating the left the house. "You can sit up front with me, we don't have to pick up Aeri today." Namjoon said and Jin smiled to himself. He got into the car next to Namjoon and sighed.
Namjoon turned in the car, Jin softly humming the song. "Hey..." Namjoon said and Jin looked at him. "What?" Jin asked. "Can I hold your hand?" Namjoon asked. Jin smiled shyly and nodded. Namjoon reached his free hand over and interlaced their fingers together as he drove.
"You're hands are small." Namjoon chuckled as he stroked Jin's hand with his thumb. "They are not!" Jin defended himself. Namjoon laughed a little, Jin trying to control his heart rate.
They arrived at school, Namjoon letting go of his hand. "We can't be touchy at school. I don't wanna risk anyone finding out." Namjoon said and Jin hummed sadly.
They got out the car and walked through the entrance, Aeri almost instantly walking up to Namjoon. Today she was wearing a pink blouse, white skinny jeans with pink heels to match. Her long blonde hair was curled and had the cutest little pink bow hair clip in.
She flashed her bright smile at Jin and waved, Jin waving back. She then proceeded to kiss Namjoon which sent a pang of jealously though Jin. Jin walked ahead of them to find Jimin.
Jin ended up stopping by his locker to grab something, Jimin meeting him there. "So..." Jimin began. "Anything happen between you two last night you wanna tell me?" Jimin asked.
"How did you know something happened!" Jin freaked out. "You looked so love struck when you walked into school, it was too obvious. Spill it." Jimin said.
On their way to class, Jin told Jimin everything, almost forgetting Namjoon had told him not to tell anyone. But Jimin wouldn't tell anyone.
"He kissed you?!" Jimin whispered yelled and Jin nodded with a blush. "And then cuddled you-awww that's so adorable!" Jimin hugged his friend. "He has to have a crush on you, right?" Jimin asked.
"Not until he gets over her." Jin glanced across the hall where Namjoon and Aeri were flirting with each other. In reality, Namjoon didn't really like her. He was just trying to cover up the fact he liked boys too.
"He will, eventually." Jimin said. "I hope so." Jin rolled his eyes as they walked into class.
At lunch that day, Jin kept quiet next to Namjoon. The older hadn't even spoke a word to Jin since he sat down. Jin felt like last night only felt fake. Like Namjoon was just trying to put all his feelings about hiding his sexuality from his friends in him. Jin didn't like that at all.
Jin slowly stood up. "Where are you going?" Jimin asked, Namjoon suddenly looking at him. "Um..." Jin met eyes with Namjoon for a split second before looking away. "Just to walk around. I d-don't feel that well." Jin said as he grabbed his lunch bag and walked off.
Namjoon sat there, jittery because he felt the need to follow Jin. "I'll be back. I'm going to check on Jin to see if he's okay." Namjoon said, Jimin smirking to himself because he was happy he was the only one who knew about them.
Jin has walked outside and snuck through the small opening in the fence into the private rain garden the school had. The biology class usually went there but not today. It was empty and Jin just needed to clear his mind.
He sat on the bench and sighed, pulling a novel out his backpack and beginning to read where he left off.
Namjoon walked outside and searched everywhere for Jin. The football field, under the bleachers, the soccer field. He eventually found the secret opening into the rain garden, happy to see Jin was there.
"Why did you follow me?" Jin didn't even have to look up. "Because you left so suddenly. What's wrong?" Namjoon asked as he approached him. "Oh, what's wrong? You really wanna know hats wrong?" Jin scoffed as he stood up.
"Jin, you're worrying me? Why are you so upset?" Namjoon asked. Jin sighed and looked away. "You haven't spoken a word to me all day. You didn't even look at me once." Jin said. "There, happy?" Jin said before he began walking away to exit but Namjoon grabbed his wrist tightly.
"Stop." Namjoon said as he turned Jin around. He wrapped his arms around his waist, Jin looking up into his eyes. "I not intentionally trying to ignore you, it's just..." "You don't want people to know you're sexuality because you think you'll lose your popularity, I know." Jin said.
"Jin, I don't mean it like that." Namjoon tried, a worried look on his face. "Look at me, Jin." He said and Jin looked back at his face and saw his usual worried look. "I care about you, I care about us. Just give it time, okay?" Namjoon said.
"You're gonna keep saying that." Jin frowned. "And then you're gonna act like our thing never existed because you're just using me!" Jin snapped. He felt Namjoon's arms tighten around him.
"Idiot." Namjoon laughed softly. A look of confusion flashed across Jin's face. Namjoon leaned in and kissed Jin's forehead gently, the younger blushing.
Namjoon placed small kisses all over Jin's face, Jin feeling warm and fuzzy inside. "You're such an idiot for thinking that." Namjoon shook his head before connecting their lips.
Jin didn't kiss back at first, causing a panic in Namjoon. Slowly, but surely, Jin began to kiss him back, wrapping his arms around Namjoon's neck.
Jin pulled away, a small smirk on Namjoon's lips. Jin shook his head. "You thought that made things better, didn't you?" Jin laughed bitterly.
"Jin-" "Forget about us, Namjoon. Us being together is problematic anyways." Jin said and let go of him, heading out of the rain garden. Namjoon felt defeated in a way, Jin felt like a million bucks. That was only gonna last a moment because he'd soon realize Namjoon really did care about him and wasn't using him.
After school, Jin got a ride home from Jimin, just to be extra petty. Once he got home, he walked into the kitchen where Namjoon was sitting, a glum look on his face. Jin tried his best not to blush or become flustered.
He opened the fridge and grabbed a sparkling water. "Jin, can we please talk? It's important." Namjoon said. "Talk to me when you actually care about me." Jin said and walked away, heading upstairs into his room.
Namjoon followed, not even knocking before he opened the door. "What makes you think I'm using you?!" Namjoon asked angrily. "Don't bother me about it." Jin said.
"You're literally making up and excuse for me to feel bad for you because I won't break with Aeri until I'm sure I like you. You're technically the on using me." Namjoon crosses his arms. Jin realized he looked like a clown right now because Namjoon had just pulled and uno reverse card on him.
"Just leave me alone." Was all Jin could say. "Fine." Namjoon murmured. "I had fun with you last night, I hope you know I really care about you." Namjoon said, hurt lacing his voice.
He closed the door behind him as he left, Jin becoming upset with himself. He felt so dumb for being so obsessed with getting Namjoon to stop dating Aeri, he didn't even see that he was the one Namjoon wanted more than her.
))))))))))
Their parents came home earlier than they thought, dinner time a little awkward because the two both kept quiet.
"You two alright? You haven't said anything to each other the entire time." Jin's mother said. "Did you get into a fight already?" Namjoon's father asked. "It's not important." Namjoon said, low key mocking Jin who only felt worse.
After dinner, Jin entered his room for bed, changing into his pajamas. He laid down in his bed but he couldn't sleep. As much as he tried he couldn't sleep knowing he made Namjoon upset.
An hour or two had passed, Jin had been on his phone. He shut it off and got out of bed, quietly opening his room door. He crept down the dark hallway to Namjoon's room, carefully opening the door.
He walked over to the bed and slipped under the covers beside Namjoon, his eyes getting teary from guilt. He rested his head against Namjoon's chest, assuming he was sleep.
He gasped quietly feeling Namjoon's arms slowly wrap themselves around Jin's body, holding him close and tight. He felt Namjoon kiss his forehead gently, the older's lips lingering for a few seconds before pulling away.
"I wish you'd listen to me." Namjoon whispered. "And you'd know that I'm not lying when I say you know that I want to be with you all the time." Namjoon said.
"Do you really?" Jin asked. "Jin..." Namjoon said. "Do you really, Namjoon? Because it doesn't feel like it." Jin breathed out. "I want you Jin. I like you a lot and want us to be together. And I won't stop until the day I make you mine." Namjoon said sincerely.
Jin kept quiet, not sure how to answer to that until he felt Namjoon's lips against his, Jin kissing back.
Namjoon pulled away and kissed Jin's cheek. "If you believe me, please don't ignore me tomorrow." Namjoon said. "I promise I'll be there for you." Namjoon said. Jin kept quiet. "Jin?" He whispered.
"Jin?" He asked again but Jin simply ignored him, the emotional lump in his throat preventing him to talk anyway or he'd start crying. Namjoon sighed, pulling Jin closer to him. "I'm sorry." Namjoon whispered, though he had nothing to be sorry for.
...
It's getting sad already😔
