"Why does Shelby hate me?" Max said "she doesn't hate you max. She just doesn't trust you" I sighed. "Why doesn't she trust me?" Then the bell rang. "I'll talk to you after science. Okay" I said. "Okay" I grabbed his hand and dragged him to science so we wouldn't be late.

Time skip to after school
Also max's pov

"Rosssssssss!!!!! Wait for me!!!" I yelled after Ross. "Nope! You gotta be fast max!" He teased. "Come on! You know I don't run a lot!" He groaned "you no fun!". He stopped running to wait for my slow ass. I finally caught up to him "so you never told me. Why does Shelby hate me?" He laughed. "You never told me why your mom hates me" he said. "Ross come on. She doesn't hate you. She just.." I was interrupted. "Hates me" "why would she hate a narwhal as cute as you. She doesn't hate you ross" I said. "Fine what ever you say" he sighed. "Now. Why does your cousin hate me?" I said grabbing his hand. "So. Before you came here I had another boyfriend. He was horrible. He told my parents that I was gay and forced him into a relationship with me. He beat me up and Shelby stood up for me. She just doesn't want you to be like him" I felt a little hurt that someone was that awful to do that to Ross. I tightened my grip on Ross' hand. "What was his name?" "His name was-" he was cut off by a horn. "Ross Washington lupirs! Get your butt in this car right now!" It was his mom. "Shit" he mumbled "um.. bye max. I'll text you later" he then ran to the car.

Ross' pov

"Shit" I mumbled "um.. bye max. I'll text you later" I then ran to the car. When I got in the back my mom slapped me "I did not raise no homosexual!" I started to tear up. "We were holding hands. That doesn't mean we're gay mom" "yes it does! You are not to talk to him anymore!understand!" I nodded. "Yes mom" I got my phone out of my pocket but she took it. "Mom! Give it back!" I tried to reach for it but the Damn buckle was holding me back. "Wait till your father hears about this!" All of my dignity went out the window. "Stop the car" I said quietly "what?" "I said stop the Damn car!!!" I unbuckeled my seat and took my phone out of her hands and got out of the car. "Get back here Ross!" I ignored her and kept walking.
