Time skip till after school.
Max's pov

I went up to Ross who was at his locker getting out his backpack so we could go home. "Ready to go" I asked looking up from my phone. "Ya. Let's go"i grabbed his hand and put my phone in my pocket. "so how was your last few classes?" i asked "eh. same as usual. todd was picking on me. and i over heard him talk about you actually" he said. "Really? What bad thing did he say?" I asked keeping my eyes forward. "Well. It wasn't bad. But for me it was. He was saying how hot you are.." he slowly said. "But he's a fucking homophobe!?" I said. "Must be a hypocrite? I don't know?" He said. I tightened my grip on his hand "if he tries anything with me I won't hesitate to kill him" I said. "I won't either" I looked at him with a confused look. "What!? I can be tough you know" he said jokingly. "Hey max!" Screamed an familiar voice, I turned around to be met with todd. "Hi Todd.." Ross said "I wasn't calling the name  'fag' was I? No? Okay then. So max wanna go to my place?" He asked. "Um..no.. why would I want to go to your house when you being mean to ross?" I said getting kinda angry. "Come on max. It's Ross. Not a human" he said putting a grin on that stupid face of his. I let go of Ross' hand and walked up to Todd punching him in the nose and watched him fall back. I went back over to Ross grabbed his hand and we left school. "Max! You didn't need to punch him!" Ross said almost screaming. "Yes I did! No one will ever talk to you like that!" I said "max everyone talks to me like that. It's fine!" We were a few minutes from my house. "No it's not okay!" He pulled my hand making me stop walking. I looked into his ocean blue eyes "it's fine maxxy. It's okay. He didn't physically hurt me. I'm fine" I wrapped my arms around his waist and his went around my neck. "I just love you too much for people to talk to you like that" I said "I love you too maxxy" he said pulling me into a quick kiss. "Now come on let's go home. K?" He unhooked his arms from my neck "okay" I said letting go of his waist.

Ross's pov

"Maxxy..come back to bed.." I said sleepily, "one second Ross" max got up in the middle of the night cause someone called him. He came back into the room a few minutes later "who called you?" I asked as he laid down beside me. "dad. since mom's going on a business trip and he'll be gone for a while. he told me no sex or i'm grounded" he said chuckling at the end while i was as red as a tomato. "we've only been dating for like a month. why does he think we're gonna have sex?" i said cuddling with max. "he's just stupid. i dont even know why my mom married him" i hugged his waist "is he your stepdad?" i asked. "Yes" he said
