MossStar yawned, early morning sun shown through her den entrance. She got up and stretched her aching limbs, the she-cat yawned and sneezed as dust crept up her nose. Padding out of her den, MossStar examined her clan from her spot,  her new deputy, HawkStorm, was organizing patrols. MossStar watched happily for a moment before getting up and walking over to greet her deputy, his strong shoulders and happy expression sent butterflies humming in MossStar's stomach. "Good morning HawkStorm. Could I go hunting with you later?" She asked cheerfully and waited for a reply from the strong independent Tom. "LeafShine take FrogLeap and LilySong with you to the ShadowClan border." He continued, MossStar cleared her throat, "HawkStorm?" She asked, he stopped what he was doing and turned to his leader. HawkStorm's eyes shined, "I would love to. I'm already in a hunting patrol, you could come if you want." He meowed, not even noticing MossStar's attempt to be alone with him. "Oh. Okay." She mumbled and got up to pad away. But a group of her warriors charging through the entrance made her stop, "MOSSSTAR! THERE'S AN INTRUDER!" one of MossStar's senior warriors yowled as she and her group came running. "SparrowFeather? I just sent your hunting patrol out. What is it?" HawkStorm asked as if he was leader, MossStar stepped forward to acknowledge her being the actual leader. "A Tom! In the forest! He won't leave!" SparrowFeather told her leader anxiously, MossStar nodded, "Okay. I'll go and check it out. You all stay here. No need to panic and worry." She meowed confidently and sprinted away into the forest.
*time skip a bit*
MossStar crept through the thick foliage, soon she spotted a muscular golden Tom with eyes the color of honey, he looked around, undaunted by the threatening look of the forest around him. MossStar emerged from the undergrowth and padded confidently up to the trespasser, "Who are you?!" She hissed and the Tom spinned around to face the leader. "Oh hello." He greeted casually, "I'm Lion. I've come to join your clan." He spoke with a hint of arrogance.

Ooh. What do you think? Hmmm... Should MossStar trust him? Maybe. What do you think of HawkStorm? And sorry for the cliffhanger.
