Marinette woke up in the morning early, for once. She went downstairs to eat breakfast but noticed something was off. "Mom, Dad?" She called through the bakery. "They could be shopping but only one of them goes shopping at a time..." She wondered. she thought for a bit more. "Tikki, Spots on!" She called out to her little kwami. She tore through Paris as Ladybug, looking for any sign of her parents. But she couldn't find any trace of any adult... At all. "What is going on?..." She dropped down to a house and looked in the window. All of a sudden there was laughter echoing throughout the streets. "An Akuma!" She yelled. she attached her magical yoyo to a building in the direction of the laughter. She landed safely on the ground and started running around looking. A bright light shone at her, causing her to be blinded. When the light faded she looked in front of her to see her partner blocking the ray. "Thanks kitty." She smiled standing. "No problem m'lady. Anything for you.~" He remarked flirtatiously. "Down kitty. Let's wait till after the fight." Ladybug smirked and lashed her yoyo at the akumatized victim.

"Bye bye little butterfly." Ladybug waved as a purified akuma flew into the sky. Chat walked up behind her with his fist out ready to do their signature move, But instead Ladybug hugged him. "Thank you, chat..." He hugged back tightly. "For what m'lady?" She smiled and pulled back. "For being there... Being my partner. Helping me... Everything." She smiled politely at him. Chat wiped a tear away with his claw. "Please don't wake me up..." He said out of the blue. "You're not sleeping kitty..." She giggled and scratched under his chin, causing him to purr. "Well, See you at patrol! Bug out!" She threw her yoyo and flew through the city of Paris. She landed on her terrace and de-transformed. "ahh. What a beautiful day." she stretched and dropped back into her room. She realized she still had her posters up. "Hmm... Time to move on..." She grabbed one of her posters of Adrian Agreste, carefully peeling it off her wall. "I'll save them for designing though..." She said out loud. She got done taking all of them down and carefully put them in a drawer. "There!" She exclaimed. She sat on her bed and started reading the newest updates on Ladyblog.

Paris heros save us once again! Ladybug and Chat Noir saved us from the akumatized victim, mirror. After mirror trapped all of the adults into mirrors, Ladybug knew what to do! ...

"What?!!" Marinette shouted before reading on.

She watched the video of her chat with Cat Noir after the battle, having her past actions unravel on screen. She blushed when she saw his smile caught on camera. "No no no! I am not falling in love!! This can't be happening!!" She turned off her phone and dropped her head on her knees. "What can't be happening." A familiar voice says dropping in from her trap door. Marinette squeaked looking up to see her partner standing before her. "Chat! Don't sneak up on me! What are you doing here?" She whisper yelled, trying not to notify her parents. "Can't I check on my Purr-incess?" He said rolling his r's in a cat like way. She giggled, heat rising slowly on her cheeks. "Well well well. Is the famous ali cat picking favorites?" She laughed and he sat down across from her. "Ha ha ha. Very funny. And why yes, of course i am." She stopped laughing and looked at him. "Huh? Why me?" She asked. "You'll have to figure that out, Au revoir!" He smiled and jumped back up the ladder jumping roof to roof. Mari walked to the window and sighed dreamily. "Kitty's not so bad when you see past his puns..." She smiled and climbed into bed. "Good night Tikki..." She said tiredly. "Good night Marinette..." The tired kwami replied as they both drifted off.
