Eren didn't actually text Levi until later that night. He was too nervous to even pick up his phone. It's not that Levi made him nervous, it was just he didn't want to annoy him. So he spent the rest of the afternoon and part of the evening on his computer, making new songs.

When the clock read 8:00pm he decided to text him. I really hope I'm not bothering him.

Eren: hey. It's Eren

Levi slammed his door shut. "Fuck off!" He locked it before his step-dad could open it. "Levi! Open the door!" He heard banging of a fist on the wood. "I said fuck off!"

"You don't use that language toward your dad." Levi scoffed. "You aren't my dad, nor my mom, and you never will be!" The banging on the door ceased but you could feel the anger seething through the door. "I am your dad now and you will listen to me. And don't bring your mother into this." Levi laughed. "Why? Just because she's dead doesn't mean she didn't exist. So stop ignoring that fact!"

He heard footsteps walking away from his door. Finally. Levi went over to his desk and checked his phone, seeing he had a text...from Eren. And it was sent about ten minutes ago.

Eren sat on his bed, staring at his phone, waiting for a response. After a few minutes a message popped up.

Levi: hey Eren. Sorry I didn't answer earlier, I was busy.

Eren: No problem. Now you have my number.

Levi: While I have you, when can I photograph you? And what can I photograph?

Eren glanced at his calendar and saw it was Friday.

Eren: Tomorrow will be good. And as to what you can photograph I can play some instruments and maybe you can get some dance shots of me. And we can go to the park.

Levi: You dance?

Eren: Yeah. I've been dancing for 2 years. Another hobby I took up :)

Levi: What else can you do?

Eren: Um... Lets see I can play guitar and violin, create and mix music, dance, and speak fluent German.

Levi: German?

Eren: Yeah. I've been speaking and writing it since I was little. My mom was German and she wanted me to know the language. If she was still alive I'm sure I would know way more languages.

Levi: Wow she sounds amazing.

Eren: She was. Since we were the only ones who knew it we would speak it to each other all the time. It was our language... You know any?

Levi: I know some French from my parents. That's it.

Eren: That's cool. You know that the high school offers French as one of the foreign languages.

Levi: Really? What else is offered?

Eren: French, Spanish, German, and ASL.

Levi: ASL?

Eren: American Sign Language.

Levi: That's cool, good to know that....I gotta go. Bye.

Eren: Bye.

Eren put his phone down and smiled. Tomorrow I get to have my picture taken. That's awesome!
