I wanted to draw a character with curled horns. This is the beginning step for me. Drawing the horns.

The outline is complete here. I screwed up painting the skin so I redrew it. So now I have two copies. One is a mistake and the other is starting to get painted.

This is my second one after redoing it. The skin was suppose to have some shadow in it but that didn't work the best. I think I did okay on shadows considering the few time I have actually paint with watercolor.

The PUPILS!!! Even when drawing I have problems lining up the pupils together so the don't look crossed eyed. So I was a great deal harder here. But I eventually got them straight after twenty minutes. 😂

I forgot to take picture before the shirt but after the finished hair. Now the hair is okay. You can see some depth to it. The shirt did wonderfully. Its probably because I had more space to move.

Oh I forgot the dimensions of this piece was in a 8" by 5" watercolor sketchbook that I got for Christmas. Yep I get art supplies and books for Christmas. Which is perfectly fine for me.

Here is the final product. The red on her arm is a red band. So its not a mistake but it looks kinda random there. I like the name Ruby for her. You know cause she has red hair and such.

This took me a whole week because I only did little parts and pieces each day. It took longer when I screwed up and had to restart. Plus, trying to add shadows and depth to her took a while as well. So now I have two positives about this. I have character with horns and I practiced with watercolors.
