Nick's best friend since they were young. Kai didn't really have anyone to call family, so Nick became his family, officially adopting him. When Nick was kidnapped by HYDRA Kai bravely tried to fight them off, but was ultimately captured as well. While they spent time experimenting on Nick, they decided to give him powers of his own, in case Nick didn't work out. They gave him super strength, invulnerability, and geomancy. Like Nick, he also escaped, turning to being a hero. He is a large brute of a man, but he is a sweetheart underneath all that muscle.
