YOUR P.O.V

"Hey (Y/N)! I need your help! Someone needs healing!"your brother Will called.

"Oh okay!" you walk beside him. "Whats the problem?"

"Its that Nico kid again. Too much shadow travel." he looks at you. "You two havent met before right?" he asked. You shook your head no. "You'll like him" he smirked.

"Oh shut up" you got to the infirmary. Nico was on one of the beds sleeping. You looked up at one of your sisters. "What's the problem? Too much zombie magic?"

"Yeah and also this" She pulled Nico's shirt up. His tummy was wrapped with bandages and it was stained red. "He needs stitches." your sister told you. You nod and start to work.

Time skip cause i have no fucking idea about healing or doctor stuff...

You finished and were now sitting next to Nico, waiting for him to get up. "Come on... You've been sleeping for 6 hours!" you sighed. Nico shifted a bit and mumbled something. You leaned closer to Nico. He opened his eyes and trued to sit up.

"OW FUCK" he yelled in pain. He leaned back down.

"H-hey there. Uh Nico right?" yku asked. He looked at you.

"Yeah..." he looked around there room. "If you dont mind me asking... Wheres Will?"

"Will Solace? He's busy this week. I'll be the one to heal you back to normal health." you smiled.

"Oh okay. Um, what's your name?"

"(y/n) (l/n)!"

" Nice meeting you (y/n)."

"Same goes for you"

You explained to nico what was happening and then you talked some more. Mostly you though. Nico said quiet and nodded showing he was listening.

You felt comfortable around Nico. Too comfortable. 1 hour in and you were already talking about your personal life.

"I lost my friend. She didn't die but she lost trust in me and now she doesn't believe me. I saw her boyfriend cheating on her and she- I- I dont know what to do." I looked at Nico who was looking at me and nodding. "I'm sorry Nico. I must be boring you with my life. I'll leave you to rest."

"It's okay really. I don't mind" he said quietly. "You can keep talking" you looked at him for a while.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Now what about your friend?"

You and Nico kept talking until it was time to eat. You said goodnight to Nico and left.

The next day you found Nico groaning. "Whats wrong Nico?"

"It hurts" His hand was on top of were his stitches were.

"Here eat this." you gave him a little piece of ambrosia. He ate it and relaxed a bit. "Better?"

"Yeah. Thank you"

NICOS P.O.V
(y/n) smiled at me. She had pretty eyes. I smiled just a little bit. She sat down next to me.

"How was your day so far?" I aksed.

"Better now" she smiled.

"How about your friend?" her facial expression saddened.

"She...still doesn't believe me." she kept talking and i listened. She looked tired.

"Sorry to interpret. But are you getting enough sleep?" i asked her. She looked surprised.

"Y-yeah" she answered. I raised an eyebrow. She looked down. "Well maybe not. I just cant sleep at night."

"You should sleep."

"I need to take care of you"

"How can you take of me if you cant take care of yourself?" i patted to a space next to me on the bed. "Just rest for a while" she looked at me.

"Are you sure?"

" I'll wake you up if anything happens" she nodded and moved her chair closer. She folded her arms on the space on the bed and laid her head on top on her arms.
Soon enough she was sleeping. Looking at her sleep made me sleepy. I decided to take a quick nap.

NEXT DAY

I woke up to a loud crashing sound. I saw (y/n) getting up. "Ow" she simply said. She turbed around and saw me. "Oh hey Nico. Had a nice nap?" I nodded my head. "Dam you take really long 'naps'. Got me worried there."

"How long was i out?"

"Oh you know the normal 20hours or so"

"Oh"

"Yeah oh. Got me worried sick" she said picking up a food tray. "Your food is next to you by the way" I looked at the side table and there was a tray with food. I grabbed some bread and began to eat.

" you were worried about me?" I asked, taking another bite of the bread.

"Well duh. You wouldn't be worried about someone as cute as you."she said. "I-i mean. Well. I."she blushed.

"Im cute?" i said pointing at myself.

"I-i guess" she said avoiding eye contact. She sat next to my bed. "Hey Nico"

"Yeah?" I looked at her. She looked sad and worried. "Whats wrong" i asked trying to sit up more. "Ow ow ow" i said as i leaned back again.

"(your friends name), my friend, shes going outside the camp for sometime and I'm worried. You know how dangerous it is. And shes not exactly the best fighter."

"I'm sure she'll be fine." she smiled a little and i smiled back. I didny like seeing her sad.

*4 DAYS LATER CAUSE YES

It was supposed to be my last day here. and i waited for (y/n). But she didnt come. This past week has really been something. (Y/n) talked about me and trusted me and it felt nice to be trusted. I even talked to her. She called me her friend yesterday,and i swear to hades I smiled. And maybe cried a little. Not many people want to be friends with a son of hades.

It was past 1 pm and I really got worried. She was supposed to get here at 12:30...

Will came through the doors. "Okay Nico. You can go now." thats odd. He didn't call me death boy or the occasional mr.I hate the sun. Or any nickname. He also seemed rushed.

"Somethings wrong." i said. Will looked at me and sighed.

"Me not being there for my sister is wrong. Now hurry get out Nico." Will helped me get up and once i was able to walk again he shooed me out.

"Wait Will whats wrong? Which sister?" i asked

"Boy you sure are nosey. Look its (y/n). Her friend died..." Will looked down.

"Let me talk to her"

"WHAT?" will asked, surprised.

"You heard me Solace." Will opened his mouth to say something but then closed it. He took me by the wrist and dragged me to the Apollo cabin.

Every Apollo kid was outside the cabin. Except for (y/n). Will knocked on the door. "(Y/n) it's me, Will." The door opened and i saw (y/n) with puffy eyes. She looked up at me.

"Nico?" she sniffled.

"I'll leave you to alone." Will said. "Do anything to her and you'll be dead." He said to be as he left. I walked in and (y/n) closed the door behind her. She looked at me for a while. Then she came up to be and hugged me. I hugged her back stroking her hair.

"She's gone Nico. And she left thinking that i wanted to ruin her relationship! She left me hating me. I couldn't even be there with her for her last days!" she cried. I looked down at her kissed the top of her head.

"Im sorry" I told her. "I lied to you. I told you she'll be fine and she's not"

"It's not your fault. You didn't know what was gonna happen. I just want to see her one last time and tell her-" she choked on a sob.

"M-maybe you can..." I said. She looked up.

"No Nico. You're not using your ghost magic for me." she let go of me and sat on her bed. I sat next to her.

"But i can. You can see her again you can-" i started.

She laughed a little. "You're such a good friend Nico." I looked down at her. She layed her head on my shoulder. "Thank you"

"Thank you for what?"

"For being my friend."

"O-oh"

"Just please. Don't hate me because-" she started tearing up again.

"H-hey. I wouldn't dream of it" she smiled at me.

(y/n) stayed sad for a month. Will tried to comfort her and so did i. But she finally was back in her feet smiling and laughing like always. And after 2 more weeks she became my girlfriend.
