You sat on the couch looking down at the framed picture. Your eyes started to tear up at the sight of the picture. A small sound came from the window. You look over your shoulder and find the cat that usually comes to the apartment. No one knew who's it was or where it came from. Nico would usually feed it and care for it. The thought out it made you sniff and turn your attention back to the picture the was in your hands.

The cat leaped from the window and into the apartment. It walked up to your feet. It looked at you with huge sad eyes. She leaped into the couch and put her paw on the picture. The picture was of you and Nico. Her paw was right on Nico. You look at the cat, who was staring at the picture. Her fur was similar to your natural hair color. It looked up and meowed. The cat leaped down gracefully and walked down the hall. You slowly place the picture on the table and followed the cat. It scratched on the door at the end of the hall. The door with pictures.

Pictures of you. Of you and the wonderful boyfriend you had. Hearts surrounded the pictures. The cat kept scratching the door. He bent down and picked the cat up. You looked at the pictures again. The cat placed its paw on a picture again. It looked at me and meowed. You sniffed. A tear fell. "Sorry. But he's not here." He look at the picture more closely. You and Nico were hugging each other. both of you were laughing as the autumn leaves fell down. You laughed remembering that Nico acted like a child when they didn't have his favorite ice cream. And when percy and the rest came over for a sleep over and both Nico and Percy wrote on each other's faces.

You laughed as tears fell down your cheek. The cat licked the tears away. You sniffed again and walked back to the picture. The cat meowed loudly. Once you put her down she went right back to Nico's door. "Don't you understand?" You say as you carry her again. "He's not here and he won't come back. Nico is..." You choked on the words. "Dead." You cried out.

After a couple minutes later the cat left and you did the same. You walked down the street to your own apartment. You heard a cat meow and you turned around. There stood a kitty. It was pure black. Dark eyes. It looked straight at you. It had a collar. You kneeled down and the kitty walked up to you. You looked at the tag and it had just its name. No phone number it address.

Nico

You put your hand over your mouth tears filled up your eyes again. You got up and jogged to your apartment. The kitty following you. You bent down and picked it up. You look up at the sky and smiled a bit. Remembering Nico and how he smiled for you every time you felt sad. You looked at the kitty. "Hi Nico." You said as it licked your nose. Tears fell from your eyes and you walk in.
