apps

apps i use:
(all but the last two are free)
picsart
my go-to app. it has everything i want in it, and it's also free. it has a lot of filters and editing options that are super useful and it's pretty easy to operate. i was intimated by it at first (i mean i'm always confused so) but it's my favorite editing app. most edits i make use picsart so i would recommend this to everyone.
phonto
it's for text and fonts so like whether or not you chose to get picsart or some of the other options below, i would highly highly recommend having this app as would many other people. also for fonts i recommend dafonts.com. download fonts onto this app, and if anyone's interested i'll make a page about my favorite fonts.
pixlr
i used to use pixlr a lot when i just started. there's not many tools and options which is why i stayed with it. it's really simple and easy to operate, and also has quite a few filters. i stopped using this app and switched completely to picsart a long time ago, but i would recommend this app to people just getting started.
vsco
i actually tried this app for a while and then deleted it because like hahaha what's storage. it's really good for filters and stuff if you think picsart or whatever app you use doesn't have enough filters for you. i personally didn't think i need it, but it's pretty good for filters.
polarr
also for filters, basically the same as vsco. it's you're preference.
adobe photoshop express
i don't really recommend it but also, if you want some extra filters it's good for that. i would recommend polarr and vsco over this though.
black eraser
basically it creates renders and i found it so useful. i would recommend it, especially if you don't wanna get superimpose. it's super simple to use, but i deleted it a long time ago. since i use online renders more. and again like what's storage lolllllllll
superimpose
i can't say much about this app because i don't really know. it's the only paid app on this list, but i've heard tons of great things about it. i've been doing fine without it, but i think blending works a lot better in it.
*edit- i just ended up getting superimpose today*
i'm kinda confused but it's simple to operate and it's really nice for edits and stuff. i would recommend this if you're doing multi-character covers especially. and it also has an eraser so like that's quite useful.
edit lab picture photo editing
again i do not know this app at all, but i've heard its good. it seems to have a lot of options but i'm fine without it.
