Outside of your swalah(prayer) and outside of your sujood make dua.
In your late night make dua and in your daytime make dua.
During wudhu make dua, make dua while raising your hands.
You can make dua in all your settings dua patches that deteriorating heart it could be and it happens that if Allah subhanahu wataala loves you.he closes all the avenues in this life in your faces,so you can open that communication that you have been neglecting with him,because he loves to hear from you.hopes and goals that you thought were impossible could easily become a reality with dua.Those who call yaa Rabb, yaRabb,never get disappointed we are the ones who need him subhanahu fee ulaah yet he is the one who asks us to ask him.
This are some of the duas you can read.
1:SubhanAllah(glory be to Allah)

-whoever recites (the above) 100times a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped from him

2:law illaha illallah (there is no god but Allah)

-if we say this dua 100times a day we will get rewarder and 100bad deed will be wiped off and Satan will not harm you that day.
In one minute we can say approximately 50times this is the greatest word,for it is the word of tawheed ,the good word the word that stands firm. If these are the last words of a person,he will enter paradise.

3surah fatiha(Alhamdulilah)

-In one minute we can recite surah Al-fatiha 3times reciting rapidly and silently.some scholars said that the reward for reading al fatiha is more than 600 hasanahs so if you read it 3times you will by the permission of Allah gain more than 1800 hasanahs all of that in one minute.

4:surah Al-ikhlas

-in one minute we can recite 20times.reciting once is equivalent to one-third of the quraan.if you read the dua 20times its equivalent to reading quraan 7times.

5:laa illaaha ilaa-Allah wahdahu law shareeka lah,lahul-mulk walaahul-hamd wahuwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.
(There is no god except Allah alone with no partner to him be domination and praise he is able to do.)

Indeed dua is the weapons of a believer.

Always remember to make dua no matter what situation you're in.He(Allah) will always accept it...
