Hello, everyone. My name is Scarlett Grey and I am a werwolf. My wolf's name is Astrid and she is my best friend.

As I am walking to the pack's house next door, the Silver Moon pack, I start thinking of my friends, Holly and Alison. "Hey Scarlett!" Holly yells out. We are only 12 and they are werewolves. I didn't know I was one at the time. I was there though for their first shift. "Hey guys ready to go running?" It became a thing where we would go into the forest to run." Oh yea!" Alison yelled. "Leaving me behind again are we girls?" That's the alpha's son, James. He is a year older and super fun to hang around. "This is a girls only party James!" I say while sticking my tongue out at him. "I am affended!" He pretends to cry. He has been our best friend for years and we always tease him. "Well fine then come with us." "No pranks?" He is super scared about that and we love it. "Nope not today." I didn't feel like it anyway.

About an hour after running we stop at a lake for a break. I was feeling really tired from the run so I jumped in the water and pretended to drown. Only I wasn't pretending. Someone was pulling me down! "HELP!" I screamed. Then I felt two other hands quickly save me. "What the heck just happened!" I explained to James and then his eyes changed color. He runs at me and jumps. I of course screamed as he turned into his wolf.  His wolfs name is Liam and is huge!  Green eyes and black fur with red fur on his left paw and ears.  As he started growling my friends Alison and Holy changed too.  Alison was silver with brown eyes while Holy was dark brown with green eyes.  I turned around and saw a huge tan wolf.  James being as stupid as ever went ahead and attacked.  As I watched them fight James got thrown off into a tree and went limp.  I felt rage fill my body.  I started shaking and next thing I new I was a huge red fur wolf.  "Hello my name is Astrid and I am the wolf. Now I want you to fight!"  Confused I listened anyway.  In minutes the wolf was whimpering and I was being yelled at by the alpha.  That was the first time I shifted and the day that changed my life.

I was told to join the pack or leave. So I joined thinking how fun it would be. James stopped talking to me so I thought he just was busy. Then I saw him and he was kissing some other girl. I was super sad and upset and ignored him since. Now 17 I realized that it was a bad idea.
