After crying for two hours and wishing the movie would end it was time to take the ladies home.  They would leave in carriages to there designated home and I would head to the surface.  I sighed as I finished cleaning up the tissues and ice cream.  I than grabbed all the tissue boxes and put them away.  Who knew Romeo and Juliet was so depressing.  Thinking of Poseidon I finished cleaning.  I left the room and headed toward the doors leading to outside.  The boys were supposed to have a party into the early hours of the morning so I just left them be.  'Where you going?'  Oh great.  'I'm heading home.'  I continued to swim when something he said stopped me.  'I already talked to your dad.  We took some important things and sold the rest including the apartment.  You're living here now.'  I sighed at this.  Ok then I'll head to his room.  That is where all my stuff is.  I got to the room and began to get ready for bed. 

          After I got ready for bed I began to look at all the books he had.  I pulled one out and began to read.  I must of lost track of time cause when I checked the clock it was 1 in the morning.  I sighed and marked my spot putting it on the coffee table.  I got up from the couch and headed toward his bed when the door opened.  I turned toward it and shrieked in fear.  Daniel was there glaring at me.  "Father leave her alone!"  Poseidon rushed in and hid me behind his back.  What happened to the boys?  "This is my room now leave!"  His father chuckled and walked in.  Something didn't seem right.  It hasn't since I first saw him.  "Your mothers dead and she's next."  He pointed at me and I thought of some way to defend myself.  That's when I saw something.  Daniel wasn't a mermaid.  His tail was different.  I then saw the cut on his wrist.  "It's you!"  I moved away from Poseidon and refused to move.  "What did you do with his real father?  And why plan such a thing?"  He began to chuckle and stared at me.  "This is only the beginning.  I had to get rid of you cause I knew you saw past our barrier."  That's when I remembered the siren she too had a slit.  She also didn't seem like the lore and everyone said.  I saw through there power.  "Your a bright child but it's time to go."  Poseidon grabbed my arm and glared at the siren.  "Why father why?!"  I was pushed against the table and felt a letter opener.  "He isn't your father."  Poseidon looked at me surprised.  "Ha!  My daughter was right you were bright."  Poseidon was still shocked.  "Not my father?"  I shook my head and through the letter opener into his arm.  He screeched in pain and I watched the soul of the megalodon float out and vanish.  "You brat!"  I smirked and smiled.  "Poseidon it's a siren.  I knew from the beginning but didn't think much of it.  I realized when he slapped me.  He and his family are controlling a group of megalodons."  I stood there ready to fight if needed.  "Bye!"  And then he was dead.  I hid in Poseidon and hid the smell of burning flesh.  

     The next morning there was no sign of Poseidon.  I was hungry and could feel his to.  I went into the kitchen made a plate of pancakes but took one first.  When I knocked on his office and got the clear to enter I didn't expect people in here.  Lucky me I brought over fifty pancakes up.  "I brought food."  I squeaked in fear and stood at the door.  Poseidon smiled and nodded toward the table.  I put the food down and began to leave when I heard Poseidon.  "Ame I have a question."  I turned toward him blushing at the attention I was getting.  "Yes?"  He smiled and held his hand out I took it and smiled at him.  "How did you know it was a siren?"  I looked at my fingers.  "I honestly don't know it was weird.  Heading home one day to the surface I saw a pretty mermaid but new it was different.  It had webbed fingers and all it's teeth where like a sharks.  I new from the lore."  I played with the pajama top I wore and felt his hold on my hand leave and him wrap his arm around me.  "No one else can see them though.  What else did you notice unusual ether growing up or recently?"  I blushed deeply at this.  "Since I was five I've been able to mimic peoples voices."  Everyone gasped and began whispering.  "Enough!"  He turned toward me and smiled.  "Can you show us?"
