-Kat POV-

My heart stopped at Matt's words. What did he mean by 'you'? When we first hooked up and I wanted him to be my boyfriend he turned me down. I'm not going to lie, I do still have feelings for him but I wasn't going to tell him that. I cant give him that feeling that he won because i'd feel like shit.

I looked up at him and shook my head. "Matt you can't have me." I told him with tears spilling out of my eyes. It pained me to look at him so I just looked down at my lap with tears falling from my cheeks.

"Why not?" He asked with anger present in his voice. "Why can't I have you? You wanted me before, what made you change your mind?" He asked getting down on his knees to be on my level.

"Probably the fact that you just raped her mouth!" I heard Nate yell from the corner. I glanced over at him and gave him a look to tell him to keep quiet.

"We made a deal Matt." I said looking him in the eye. He looked at me confused as if he didn't know what I was talking about. He stood up and paced back and forth tugging at his hair.

"You can't leave, you can't!" He yelled looking at me with hurt and anger in his eyes. I stood up and looked him in the eyes. In his eyes I saw a broken boy who needed fixing and the he took his anger out on everything else. He hid his pain under everything so no one would ever know how broken he was. Maybe that's why he races, to get forget about everything.

"Matt I'm leaving and so is Nate." I said walking over to Nate. I untied him and helped him up considering he got shot in the leg. Matt looked like he was about to cry as he watched us walk to the door. "Bye Matt."

-Matt POV-

My heart kept breaking at her words. I don't want her to leave. I want her to turn around and run into my arms so I could keep her forever. That's all I wanted, was for her to be mine but I screwed it up the first time when she first asked.

"Kat, please." I said barely audible as my throat clenched up.

She looked at me one last time before her and Nate disappeared down the hall. Once they were no longer in sight I just broke down. I fell to my knees and cried my eyes. The one thing I wanted was gone forever. She was all I wanted but I was to blind to see that I was breaking her these past few days I've had her. I guess not all good things go to the bad.

I heard footsteps walk towards me and didn't have any courage to look and see who it was. The person pulled up off the ground and into a hug. I didn't care who the person was at the moment, I just needed a hug. He rubbed my back then pulled away. I took this time to look at the person and see why they hugged me. I looked at the person and my eyes widened in shock. My jaw dropped and I backed up.

"S-Sammy?" I asked not being able to take in the fact that the person I almost killed was standing before me.

"Yes it's me Matt." He said sighing. Sammy walked towards me and I just stood there, frozen, too scared to move. "I saw everything." He said looking down.

"Sammy I'm so sorry about everything." I broke down again. Sammy grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eyes.

"Matt if you wanted her then you can have her." He said with a slight smile.

"R-Really?" I asked through sobs. I saw him nod his head with tears brimming his eyes. Honestly, I didn't care about how Sammy felt. All I cared about was getting my girl once and for all.
