It has been about two days since I had been kidnapped. The captain was right, no soldier's came here. Actually there was no gossip of the Queen gone missing which is strange. Did Aahoptep know I was gone? I shook my head of such irrelevant thoughts. Of course he would know, he probably made sure to keep things quite for my safety.

I was in the kitchen preparing lunch for the kidnappers. Its not that they tortured me to do the chores more like the other way round. Non of these grown up baboons have any idea of how to cut a carrot let alone cook a full meal, so I asked if I could do it instead. I mean this better than meat that is burnt beyond recognition or soup that tastes like a crow's vomit.

But there was also a secret agenda behind doing this. For the two days I stayed here I have noticed two very important things which will aid in my escape.

One: The men who guard the place are extremely stupid. They only care about a good night sleep and a good meal which I have been providing. So they wont be much if a problem to me. But the captain in a whole new level. He is a fox, sly, manipulative and smart. Without him this group would have been a long lost cause.

Two: They keep the sedative they gave me in the next tent.

Using this information I have forged an escape plan. Its simple and if executed properly I could get out of here by tonight. But if I get caught then surely I'll be stuck here for God knows how long.

I let out a huge sigh. I finally finished preparing the duck.

"That looks delicious," came a voice.

I turned around and saw the captain standing, more like leaning on a near by wall.

"It is,"I said looking content with myself. For lunch I had prepared four ducks dressed in a herb sauce. Along with this I prepared a soup consisting of vegetables. I brought five loafs of bread and some plum wine. Pretty extravagant. All to earn their trust well on food at least.

With the help of one of the other guard I brought the food into the hall. All of the men gather to have a meal so the other guards should be coming in soon.

Man 1: "It smells so good."

Man 2: "True, better than the cow shit stew we had the other day," he says with a laugh.

I smiled a little. Even though I was held captive they have always given me my space. They never tried to make me feel awkward or in any way uncomfortable and they always thanked me for the food they ate. This somehow made me feel a little sad since my plan had something to do with spiking their food with sedative.

The rest gathered in about five minutes and we all sat down. Their eyes sparkled with awe as they stared at the food placed in front of them.

"Alright lets start. Dig in," the captain ordered. And before he could reach the end of his sentence all hell broke loose as ten hungry men grabbed onto whatever food was near to them. It was really funny to watch and I broke into a fit of giggles. No one seemed to notice though, well except the captain of course. He gave me a grin and dived in.

Midway though I pretended to touch my moonstone which is supposed to be missing. I had placed the stone in the next room in the morning while I had gone over to give them some refreshment drinks.

"My moonstone.... Its... Missing," I say freaking out.

"It will be around here somewhere," the captain said calmly as he sipped on the plum wine.

I left the table and started searching for it furiously. The panic on my face clearly calmed the room and in a few moments the room fell silent.

"Its not here," I say as I go through the furniture. "I have to find it," I said wearing a worried expression.

"Maybe it fell in the other room when you came to give us the morning refreshments," said one of the men.
Perfect this is what I was hoping for.

"Could be," I said still looking worried.

"Can I please go search for it. Its my mothers please I need to find it," I said trying to keep the saddest face I could manage.

"Take one of the guards with you. Be back in five minutes," the captain said getting back to his meal unbothered by my act.

The other advantage I have is non of them knew I had any knowledge that the sedative is kept there so they weren't suspicious.

I took one of the guard who seemed really irritated as I had interrupted his meal.

"Hurry up so I can go back and finish my meal before they devour every last bit," he said as we entered the tent.

"It would be faster if we spilt up and searched. You search over there and I will look over here," I said pointing to the other end of the room.

Now according to what the guards were saying last night the sedative was kept in a cool dry place. So I scanned the room looking for a possibly cool and dry place.

I spotted a small basket hidden in the corner after a few minutes. It was covered by a linen cloth. I removed the cloth and voila.... the sedative. I took the small bottle in my hand. I smiled, the first step was over. I took out another small bottle and poured half of it into this. Now if they do search for the sedative then it would be here. But the amount was less. I scanned around to find some water. There was some on the small wooden table. I took it and filled the small bottle with it. Now no one will suspect anything. I hid the other bottle where no one will look twice at. For once in my life I liked having them.

I then went to the place where I hid the moonstone and got back before the captain could suspect anything. Unfortunately all the food was over so the guard I took was a bit furious.

"You can have more food for dinner,"I said with a smile. This seemed to cheer him up right away as he gave me a big smile showing his crooked yellow teeth.

Now all I had to do was pour the sedative in their wine and hopefully they won't wake up till tomorrow night which gives me plenty of time to escape. I know once they wake they will peruse me so I planned to take the longer route so that they will never find me. But that route will take me two to three days to reach the Amarna. Hopefully it won't be too late by then.

I had prepared dinner. It was six whole chicken along with the same plum wine and bread which I had purchased at the market for a good price. I had put the sedative in the plum wine. The taste will be masked by the sensational burn the wine gives. Hopefully the captain drinks a lot.

"If you keep serving good food like this then my boys are going to get fat and lazy," the captain said with a laugh as he dug into the food.

I smiled to be polite and just kept to myself. About fifteen minutes later I noticed many of them felt really drowsy. Even the captain couldn't keep himself upright. His eyes met mine and he knew instantly what I had done.

"You witch. You spiked our drinks. Guards get her," He yelled. All ten guards got up from their table most of them wobbled. I got up from mine as calmly as I coupd manage and took my position to fight. This wasn't so bad now was it. I'm sure I can take them on. They are hardly standing straight I said to myself though I didn't believe any of it. They maybe stupid but they were strong. So this was still challenging.

I tried to think of more positive thoughts like how I can brag to Ammon that I took on eleven grown men all by self for the rest of my life. See that's not too bad. So your still getting something out of this kidnapping, I say to myself once again. I inhaled deeply and exhaled focusing, concentrating and then I charged.

I took down the first guy with a punch in the stomach. Then next I did a high kick to the guy on on my left. I rotated my body and with the same leg gave another kick to the ribs to the guy on my right. I then charged and hit the next one in his man parts. The same routine continued for about ten more minutes. Four of them had already fallen unconscious, one being the captain so I took down only seven of them though I won't mention that to Ammon. I bent down and placed both my hands on my knees. Sweat dripped off me as I breathed heavily while my heart pounded in my chest. It was over faster than I expected. I would have really enjoyed a cold bath but I didn't have the time so I wiped the sweat down and grabbed whatever I thought was necessary like money and some food. I grabbed a blanket, an extra pair of cloths and boots. I went outside and grabbed one of the horses. As quickly as I could I tied up my stuff and mounted on it and rode away. I put a scarf around my face so I wouldn't be recognised.

I was free at last. Now all I need to do was get back to the palace before something bad happens.
