Meanwhile at Cecil's lair

The spy looks up at the huge mountain where Cecil's lair is. He sighs. 'Keep calm, just tell him that Robotnik's animals are coming and it'll all be over.', he thought. He climbs up the mountain trying not to look down. After a few long hours, he knocks on the pitch black gates.
"Ugh, who could it be at this time of the day?", Cecil asked himself, he was still tired from all the commotion Ruby was causing. He then felt a little glow, "Ah, Joseph, what's the latest news?", he asked.
"I-I-f-found...", Joseph said.

"Well, spit it out!" Cecil said in anticipation.

"I found out that Robotnik's pets are coming over here to get Ruby back."

Cecil's fists clench, his blood boiled with rage, he starts to grit his teeth. "WHAT!!", he growled. He takes Joseph to the entrance and throws him off, sending him to tumble down the slope. He snaps his fingers, and his three most faithful felines, Diogenes, who was a lynx; Dianna who was a snow leopard\puma hybrid; and Amos, who was a bobcat came up to him. Cecil takes out a picture frame with Nero and his gang's picture inside of it. "I want the three of you two find these animals, and kill them.", he commanded. They all nod and leave.

Cody's POV

My eyes were still closed, I didn't want to wake up since I usually like to sleep in. My eyes flutter open. I walk up to Nero, "Psst Nero," I whisper into his ear, making him open his eyes, "rise and shine, it's another glorious day for our journey."

He yawns and looks at me, "Morning, Cody."
He walks up to one of the rocks nearby and roars so loud that it scared tons of birds away, and waking everyone up. "Samuel, go find us that moose we ate last night.", Nero commanded.

~time skip~

"Best breakfast ever!" I exclaimed.

"Um, guys...", Achilles said while pointing forward to three wild felines, "I think we have a problem."

"Should we fight them?" I asked.

Nero nodded and joined. We all growled and charged at them. I charged at the bobcat, making him growl. I hissed angrily at him and scratched his neck and pinned him down.

A few hours later

After a few hours of fighting, we were all panting. "Truce?", Nero asked.

"Truce.", the lynx replied.

"Could you guys tell us our names?", I asked.

The leopard stood up, "I'm Dianna, this is Amos, and this is Diogenes."

"And could you tell us why you guys were trying to kill us?" Trent asked.

"We were sent by our master, Cecil, to come kill you so you guys won't get Ruby back." Diogenes said.

"Oooh. Welp, since you guys are here, could you join us to tell us the directions to his place?", Carter asked.

"Sure.", Amos replied.

Nero looked at Amos, "I see that you have a pouch, could you put the rocks inside of them?"

Amos puts each rock in, one by one.

"Okay, it looks like we're ready to go, let's go!", Nero said, "lead the way guys."
